Chapter 18

Nova was coping just fine soloing on her own hiding in a well hidden spot alongside a forest where no one could find her preparing for a fight, but if she were to win against a seeker then her Universe will get a point and she remains in the game continuing to hide, however if she were to lose and get knocked out or killed by the seeker then she'll remain out along side the Gods and angels who silently watched down at their participants until the next round begins. Riaura wasn't feeling well hiding away in the dark places on the planet in hopes of waiting this one out feeling her body slowly heat up and become gradually weaker the more stamina she waisted running with her brother and his friend which eventually forced her to remain isolated from the others as well hoping to maybe come across Nova if lucky enough.

Riaura's PoV:

This is beginning to get on my nerves now. My body is feeling weird while I remained leaning against a nearby tree in an attempt to recollect myself and find out what could be causing me to act like this. "This isn't looking good.. Dad is going to ground me if he find me like this" I thought in a panic as some contestants of rivalling Universes were seen rushing past while being chased by a singular seeker until one in particular caught my attention it was the Prince of Anti-Universe 6 walking casually with a cocky smirk on his face striking down a couple of the fleeing cowards who stood no chance against him as his tail swished while the bodies remained laid lifeless on the ground around him while I stayed hidden away in the darkness safe from his merciless killing.

"Disgusting low-lives.. running away is futile and I will eventually catch up to you no matter how fast you are, I will always find a way to catch my prey under the name of my father, King Voltar the mighty ruler of Planet Taruta" He seemed to only be killing these people for his father a king in which what my dad could've been if that lizard didn't destroy his home planet all those years ago. I in an attempt tried to sneak through, but my dumb foot decided to step on a twig making it snap bringing his attention making me freeze in place as he appeared out of nowhere in front of me making me stumble backwards and almost slipped before he caught me behind my waist leaving me completely lost for words. "Are you alright?" He asked changing his whole demeanor pulling me back onto my feet feeling my hands inches away from his forearm quickly brush against his fur as we separated.

"Y-yes.." I cautiously replied while trying to keep a calm impression around someone as mighty and strong like himself.

"Good, now.. RUN" He replied with a straight face making me back up giving me probably a few seconds or maybe minutes to escape, but for all I know this might end up getting me killed just like the others who have fled so I remained stood there refusing to be seen as some pathetic cowards even in my weakened state I knew what was in store for me might as well go down in honour just like a princess should. "Why aren't you running? Are you even aware of the damage I can do to you in your current state?! I'm Prince Alvar the II" He exclaimed raising his voice wanting me of the possible danger I was in even though it was true, but I wasn't raised to be a coward.

"If you think I'm stupid well you're greatly mistaken, Princy. Just because you're a royal doesn't mean you can order me around as if I'm some sort of maid. I am my own ruler" I snarky replied surprising him with my response as some parts of the fur on my tail were beginning to stick up feeling my primal instincts begin to stick in preparing to stand my ground for the sake of my own pride.

"You really are something else so for now I'll let you go, but I can't say the same about your friends" He calmly replied placing a hand on my shoulder catching me off guard unsure of what to do for all I know he could be bluffing. Out of nowhere he used his finger to lift up my chin growing closer to me as his tail brushed against mine for a second before retreating away.

"Get away from my daughter!" Father yelled coming out of nowhere punching Alvar in the face sending him flying into a nearby mountain before worrying over to me checking for any injuries. "That filthy bastard didn't do anything to you, right? If he did you can tell me!" He questioned making me sigh kinda used to seeing this side of him when out of view as most people mistake my dad to get a heartless warrior, but really he had a heart of gold.. if he wanted to show it that is.

"Dad I'm fine he didn't hurt me.. other than touching my tail that's all" I replied as he growled looking in the Prince's direction a few good feet away and yet I can still see him crawling out of the hole of the mountain that my father had just put him in with just one punch.

"Trunks told me that you suddenly disappeared making me worry that some idiot could have killed you! And yet here you are allowing some stranger touch your tail.. what am I going to do with you?" He questioned going into his SSBSS form preparing to battle Alvar who brushed himself off as if that lunch was nothing until the feeling of my legs going numb caught me off guard making me fall down into my knees growing increasingly worser than before, he caught onto this coming closer with that same old serious expression. "Riaura.. *places a hand on my forehead* are you unwell?! You could've been killed because of this, just be glad that this idiot hasn't harmed you yet!" He exclaimed loudly making me jolt removing his hand from my head angered by the fact that this could've be prevented beforehand.

"It isn't my fault.. it just happened when the tournament began, I just don't know what's happening to me.. my body feels strange, not the sick type of strange it's... weird" I replied back trying to explain that it wasn't expect as there is no way in hell I would drag everyone down if I was sick. His hand froze for a moment before instantly retreating as if I was something he feared which is a rare sight for some to see. "What's wrong? Is there something on my face?" I asked confused seeing him back up and quickly glance around in a panic.

"Where's that brat when you need her!" He growled before randomly picking me up before taking off which wasn't making things any easier for me. I wonder what he's think about?

No one's PoV:

"Damn it! Why this? Why is it happening now?!" Vegeta thought in a panic taking Riaura into a distant cave to keep her hidden and out of the hands of his rivals. "No one is breeding with my daughter?! Prince or not they have no right to come up and touch her like that and I refuse to let it happen not on my watch!" Could this mean that Riaura is experiencing a heat cycle? Vegeta stuck and hide on the other side of the cave despite not being effected by it or let anyone even come 10 feet of her without fighting to the death.

"Why are you acting so weird all of a sudden? Did I do something wrong?" Questioning her father Vegeta softly exhaled keeping his eyes glued to the other exit and entrance of the cave incase that Prince comes by and tries to take his little princess.

"You forgot to take your heat pills again.. I'm remaining here until Trunks or that brat decides to show up so I can get back out there and fight. So don't get any funny ideas and try to run off in the current state you're in.. I might not be able to save you a second time" Vegeta responded looking nervous and afraid to leave her like this in her own when there's loads of potential threats that could do anything to her in this weakened state even though it is just momentarily during the upcoming 24 hours she'll have to suffer until the tournament is over.

"Crap.. I knew I was forgetting something" Riaura mumbled to herself disgusted that she let something so important slip out of her schedule which made her wonder if she had ever dotted it down on the calendar she keeps neatly hanged in her room.

"Didn't you write it down in your calendar last week?" He asked knowing how organised this kid was and how rare it is for her to forget anything let alone something as important like this. Riaura felt slightly offended that he would question her organisation especially when it comes to planning which is very important if anyone wants a healthy life plan.

"Of course I did! Why would I not? Unless someone has changed it.. no one goes into my room though unless it's for an emergency then yeah plans will change, but nothing bad has happened so who could've changed it?" She replied before questioning herself thinking if someone other than her own family could've went in and changed it which makes things far more harder than they have to be. Vegeta stood up from the cave's wall heading over to the entrance of the cave staying in the shadows while Riaura remained seated trying her best to regain her strength again if she were to have any chances of standing a chance of surviving this round.

Nova was far away hiding from a up coming seeker that is currently lurking around her territory in an attempt to find where she was hiding which wasn't going to be easy as hide'n'seek is one of Nova's specialties making it incredibly hard to find her no matter what they do unless they were Goku of course then it'll be easier. "I swear that I heard something snap around here?" The seeker and a Saiyan of Anti-Universe 6 reassured himself wearing different armour compared to the one Vegeta wears as this one is black and white matching with his short natural black spiky Saiyan hair and tail as well as well his cold, serious black eyes that were always concentrated on finding his next prey. Nova was hiding in the trees silently following him luring him with rocks she had collected to a isolated area away from the rest of his group in order to personally take him out without being out matched by several other seekers as it would waste too much of her energy if something like that happened.

"That's it follow the sounds.." Nova thought throwing and catching a rock in her hand ready to throw it once more before taking out the now seen prey turning the tables which was making this tournament quite interesting since the others preferred to fight instead of waiting to be found. When the seeker got to his destination going into a shallow cave opening Nova took extra caution feeling his BP sitting there waiting for him to turn his back in order to use instant transmission and take him out without potentially killing him.

"Come on! Another dead end. This tournament is being rather crappy, I haven't found a single hider ever since this pathetic game started!" The Saiyan growled growing increasingly agitated distracted as his supposed target appeared behind him waiting to see his reaction, but he was taking longer than she expected.

"It isn't going to be that easy if you leave yourself in the open like that, pal. Now you are my prey" Forcing him to turn in shock making his tail puff up for a slight moment after seeing her standing there unfazed as he backed off unsure of why this female was so calm around him not aware that he was the one in danger not her.

"No. You've got this all wrong, I'm the hunter here so why don't you be a cute little kitty and run along so I can hunt you down" He replied seeing her as an easy target since she was a female and has no BP reading unaware that he was about to get his ass whopped in next following seconds, standing there waiting Nova was prepared to counter attack as he gritted his teeth before a smirk came along his face revealing his confidence. "Fine. Have it your way!" He yelled launching himself at her however in a blink of an eye he was on the floor in an amount of 5 seconds or maybe less leaving him confused under Nova's boot while she had a tight grip on his hand pulling his arm up towards her making it practically impossible for him to flee or use anything as she used a strange Ki that prevented anyone she challenges to teleport away.

"Well, you don't say. Look who has who hunted now, monkey" Nova said remaining a neutral expression remaining calm and collective as anyone could attack her even if she has one of their members in captivity. The seeker went silent as if he had never experienced such an event ever in this life while Nova could care less about this man's pride over his sexist behaviour downgrading a female by BP and looks alone.

"That's it! You show him who's boss!" Lord Beerus cheered even though she couldn't even hear him and was doing what she does best, fighting. Leaning closer to the seeker's ear hearing nothing other than his winking pain every time she tugged or pulled on his arm knowing that her Universe was at stake and no mercy should be shown if they have true intentions of murdering anyone who stands in there way.

"It's about time you go sleep, seeker. Nighty night" She whispered before knocking him out with a single chop on the side of his neck making him vanish and join the Gods and angels while she gained points for Universe 7 and headed off once again for another target until someone more smarter finds and fighters her in order to make things far more interesting than they need to be. "Another win in the bag. However this technique is growing rather boring.. I need to find something more interesting if I don't want to bore myself out" Thinking to herself as she jumped through tree to tree being as stealthy as she can with the lowest and senseless BP on the entire planet making it practically impossible for anyone to find her at this rate unless she purposely rises it in order to lure more stronger opponents and gain more points to survive as well as advance to the next round without any casualties if lucky enough. Nova unexpectedly was about to float past the cave where Vegeta was stood keeping guard when out of nowhere his hand was seen grabbing and aggressively pulling her inside. "What the heck gramps! I could hurt myself" She yelled catching herself along side the cave wall glancing back at the prince who scoffed before taking off leaving Nova in charge without any hesitation in order to get back onto the battle field and findings this round as soon as possible. "And there he goes.." thinking to herself before seeing Riaura in the corner of her eye glancing over to see her sat leaning against the wall of the cave weirdly out of breath.

"Don't even ask, Nova. My dad only waited this long so you can keep an eye on me until the tournament ends, but I doubt you'll let us stay here all day so what's the plan?" Riaura butted in knowing her bestie more than anything making Nova slowly nod in response agreeing that she does have something in mind, but it might get them killed more than anything.

"Well.. your dad isn't going to like it, but I brought some beans in hopes that it could restore enough strength to last you at least a few hours before the first round ends" Nova suggested pulling out a tiny white bag from her sash that was tied shut by a single string of rope gently throwing it up and down catching it perfectly in her palm in front of Riaura. "They aren't anything like those senzu bean my father has.. they're called godly blue Senzu beans a weird name, but they are actually blue and more reliable which is a good thing that I brought 10 as we can only half of a bean unless you want your heart to explode" Warning her friend with a calm smile making the Princess nervous before watching her catching the bag unraveling the rope picking out a singular bean breaking it in half as the other went in the bag while the bag was tightened up and put away out of enemies reach as Nova headed over handing Riaura half a bean and watched her chew and swallow it down. Within seconds energy was given pushing away the heat effects allowing the princess to stand up no longer wobbly and weak.

"Wow. I guess you weren't wrong these beans really are something else" Riaura noted liking these new beans relieving her if that rachet heat finally allowing her to fight in this tournament and prove to the prince that she mustn't be taken lightly. Nova felt her power boost up dramatically making her active a forcefield at the entranced the cave preventing anyone or anything from entering inside.

"You ready to go and kick some ass?" Nova asked while Riaura looked at her hands clenching and unclenching them feeling that overwhelming power over come her body before glancing up with a confident smirk giving the white Toura-Jin her reply allowing them to become an unstoppable duo. What will happen if they come across a challenge they cannot overcome? Will they survive or will they fall? dragging the rest of the Universe with them.
