Eugene V. Samuel's Past (Finale)

The death of Roselia left V. Samuel Heartbroken and depressed. He didn't have any relatives, so no one came to look after him. For the first time, he truly realized what it meant to be all alone.

His depression worsened.

However, his desire to kill his mother's murderer helped him pick up the broken pieces of his heart and piece them together.

He was brimming with anger and rage and ready to destroy the first evil-doer that entered his sight.

But someone changed his mindset and helped him stay a law-abiding citizen.

It was none other than the police chief, who was a good friend of V. Samuel & Rosalia.

The police chief took pity on him and adopted him.

She had three children already, but she selflessly added the burden of another one on her shoulder. He was brimming with anger, but the police chief helped him control his rage and made it possible for him to not lash at the innocent people.

V. Samuel was extremely thankful to her.

After all, without her help, he would've long lost himself to anger and taken Justice into his own hands.

The Police Chief liked V. Samuel because he was a remarkable child who was intelligent enough to determine the culprit among several suspects after glancing at the row of suspects once. She didn't want to see him destroy his life by making wrong choices. He had a special sense of sniffing out evil does, and she knew that with her help, he would grow up to become the face of the nation's police force.

Thus, she stopped at nothing to support him from becoming an able gentleman and stop him from turning his back to the light.

V. Samuel didn't betray her trust, and he used his special gifts to catch evil-doers and protect the innocent.

V. Samuel didn't give up on his quest to avenge his mother, but he didn't know who the serial killer was and where and when he could find him. He could do nothing but put his vengeance to a temporary halt.

-----------------

V. Samuel had the Fortune & Misfortune Seeing Eyes, which not only allowed him to differentiate bad people from the good ones but also determine their weaknesses, their strengths, ways to avoid their attacks, and ways to cause their downfall.

He used his innate skills to help officers of justice subjugate the villains in his neighborhood

The more bad guys he helped them take down, the more famous he became among the locals.

However, his rising popularity among the locals took a sudden major downfall as he started to hang out with a fellow classmate called Allen, who was a wealthy teenager with no morals and influential parents.

None of the locals knew why he was kissing up to Allen, who they knew had participated in organized crimes, yet they started to talk shit behind V. Samuel's back, and their kids would boo him wherever they met him.

V. Samuel ignored all of their shit talks.

These people were irreverent to him.

No matter what they said to muddy his name, he didn't care.

He had already told his adoptive mother and siblings why he was hanging out with Allen, and they had agreed to let him do as he saw fit.

He didn't need to explain himself to others.

V. Samuel was out to gather evidence of Allen's missed to cause his downfall.

Allen had sweet-talked his prep-school friend into having sex with him, and he went on to film it and use the recording to blackmail her into prostitution.

Now, V. Samuel hadn't seen this friend of his for years, but he didn't ignore her call for help.

He promised her that he would pull her out of the dark pit and throw Allen into it.

But for that, he needed to get close to Allen, so he became his friend.

More specifically, he became his dog.

Allen was a school tyrant, pretty evil, and the first son of a ridiculously powerful capitalist.

He was interested in making V. Samuel, the nemesis of evil-doers and the champion of lightweight karate championship, his hound.

So, when V. Samuel came to him after becoming homeless and proposed to become his loyal dog in exchange for money, he accepted him immediately.

As V. Samuel had wished, his adoptive mother kicked him out of the house with tears in her eyes but not before smashing 10000 dollars into his hands.

He literally became homeless in the eyes of the locals and stupid people like Allen.

Allen didn't suspect that V. Samuel had an ill motive behind working for him. He had already made his guys run a background check on him. So he knew that V. Samuel was a mere orphan who was living under the roof of an incompetent police officer that hasn't managed to catch the culprit who killed his mother in the last six years. He had a lot of money but needed a good fighter to hand around him in school and outside of it. Thus, he hired V. Samuel and accepted him into his organization's rank.

V. Samuel became his hound, biting whoever he wanted him to take down.

He acted as a humble loan shark for Allen.

As V. Samuel was extremely good at his job and never failed a mission, he became one of the top members of Allen's organization in merely a year.

On the surface, V. Samuel was loyal to Allen, but underneath the smiley face and submissive nods he would give to him, he was gathering evidence of his misdeeds.

Allen's influential parents always cleaned his mess ever since he was a kid, which led to him doing viler things without worrying about the law while growing up.

However, they weren't able to clean up the evidence of the evil deeds which he kept hidden from them.

By the time he entered 12th grade, Allen had mistreated more than several dozen people.

Allen had threatened and beaten at least ten of his classmates and several dozens of schoolmates.

The weak boys in this school acted as his bread shuttles, buying lunch for him and handing over their daily allowances on a week-by-week basis.

Allen was rich, but he liked stealing from others, especially those who could barely afford a good lunch.

He loved to torture the poor!

Some of his victims stopped coming to school as they were too embarrassed to show their faces at school.

He was sick in the head and a danger to society.

V. Samuel quickly got his hands on dozens of black materials about Allen and handed them over to several prosecutors famous for being righteous under the light of day.

In the darkness of night, V. Samuel also gave them to his hacker friends, who brought Allen's misdeeds to light on the internet, an act that forced the officials to take action even if they didn't want to do anything against him.

V. Samuel was considerate of Allen's victims' mental health, and thus, he had asked his friends to blur their names, faces, and figures.

The public was outraged when they found out about Allen's habit of changing his girlfriend faster than changing his clothes and secretly filming them having sex with him by using spy cameras.

Their anger doubled when they found out that after breaking up with his many girlfriends, Allen would use the videos of them having sex with him to blackmail them into prostitution so that they would make money for him.

They became angry enough to kill Allen when they saw the evidence of him forcing many women he impregnated to have abortions.

Allen's dream of becoming a big influencer shattered as his misdeeds came to light.

On top of that, because the dog he raised bit his hand, he became a laughing stock in the upper society.

The adults destroyed the evil organization he had created.

The judge sentenced him to ten years in jail.

This time, even the money and authority of his parents failed to protect him.

Everyone ridiculed Allen, who glared daggers at V. Samuel.

V. Samuel merely smirked back at him before walking away.

Initially, everyone cursed V. Samuel for becoming Allen's dog.

But once they found out that he was behind Allen's downfall, everyone realized that they had wronged him and began apologizing to him in terms.

V. Samuel forgave them without kicking up a fuss, dumbfounding his friends who strayed away from him, believing that he was no longer worthy of their trust, and the locals that shit talked him every day.

His easygoing attitude surprised them, and they believed that he was a saint that could not get angry at all.

Only Eugene, who had been spectating every moment of V. Samuel's life, noticed that he forgave them not because of the goodness of his heart but because their actions and words have not hurt him as they were irrelevant to him.
