No creature had ever done that to him, even when the Dungeons poured monsters, and he was forced to defend the final summoning. He had even been tempted to stay and fight the monsters till his death, but the memory of his daughter forced him to leave.
The union had been her idea, but Clyde had agreed that it was time for the two races to finally unite. Even after everything had happened, the memory of his daughter's face kept him going.
"Neither of us has the time for that. Just know that I have a plan, and I will not keep anything important from you. I expect the same," Yren said with a nod and was about to leave, but Clyde grabbed his wrist.
"Don't forget these. The second one is for the shop in the back. You will have to get your father to make more keys, but it is one row from your father's house. It's four bedrooms, so that should be good for now until you can build a new one," Clyde said, wincing slightly.
