Yren pictured his front gate, and instantly, he and Kimora were standing in that place. Then they were standing at the front door.
"Okay, put me down. I feel like I need to walk myself for a bit. The instant movement is its own kind of disorienting," Kimora complained, and Yren let her down as the door opened for them.
"Sorry, I was just getting used to it. It kind of feels strange to walk places now," Yren laughed, looking back just to make sure there wasn't some kind of wake of disaster behind him.
"It is pretty useful. Now we can go places without much effort, and you will be able to have more time for us. All wins in my book, but you should really do something about your skin," Kimora said as Bartholmus closed the door behind us.
"No can do; I am stuck like this. I have already tried many times to change it back," I said with a sigh and then asked, "What about you? How are you feeling after your nap?"
