Episodes 99. A Servant who Take a Lead Pt.5

Back to the battlefield.

Class 1 Physical 1 has managed to drive back 10 students who fled earlier.

But under Hakam's command, they managed to take down 6 students among them before the latter built a wall of ground to seal off the entrance to the palace.

Point of View: Hakam Surya.

I've ordered some students who can infiltrate to head to the balcony.

I did it not only to speed up our movement but also because I wanted to cool down my heated face.

Ah...

I almost couldn't think logically when I was near Moka earlier!

Forget it!

Back to business!

I hope they can sneak in safely.

If we attack directly now, we'll fall into the enemy's trap. So, we need to make some preparations first.

Sending those who can use ice and light magic is the right choice at the moment.

On the right side of the palace entrance, the team led by Moka, consisting of 3 people, walks on the wall and ascends to the balcony safely and without obstacles.

However...

On the left side of the palace entrance, my lord's team, consisting of 4 people, encountered a slight obstacle.

They were greeted by some magical shots from above, and some of them were made to fall by those shots.

Two K.O.s just from those shots?!

This is bad, my lord should have been faster than this.

If not, many students will be knocked out without contributing.

Stevent looks frustrated, grinding his teeth together, his eyes wide open to the point where his veins are visible.

"Damn it! I won't let you push our class further back!"

With emotion, my lord runs at full speed and ascends to the balcony.

Up there, he is immediately confronted by 6 guards who had stopped them earlier.

"It's Stevent!"

They (the enemies) shout upon seeing my lord's face.

But why?

Are they prepared to counter?

It seems what I said in my heart earlier was right.

Immediately, one student from the opposing class showcases his skills in front of the prince.

With arrogance and flaunting, he demonstrates how he manipulates both electricity and darkness magic simultaneously as if dancing. His dark skin moved like a pro while his silver ponytail was jiggled because of his movement.

"Oh, so you're trying to challenge me with opposing elements?" Stevent looks intrigued by the opponent's strategy, even adjusting his glasses to signify his seriousness.

"Earl Stevent Xander, I've analyzed you since you entered the school, and this is the moment where I will show my prowess!" The opponent's red eyes were lightened up as if making a broad challenging gaze.

"Name...." (Stevent)

"Huh?"

"What's your name? It's not fair if only you know mine."

"Oh... My name? I'm Rodrick! Rodrick Cevyat!"

"Alright, Rodrick! You're about to see how futile your efforts have been all this time!"

Immediately, Stevent advances and unsheathes his sword toward his opponent with lightning speed.

BRUSSS!

But as expected, his opponent is an element that can deflect the prince's attack. A cloud of black smoke emerges around his opponent's body, slowing Stevent's speed and making his movements easily readable.

"Too easy!"

Taunts are evident, Rodrick aims a punch at Stevent's abdomen, who is already close to him.

GUBRAK!

Stevent's body is instantly thrown back by a jolt relying on an electric shock.

But, being a user of light elements, Stevent quickly stands back up and rushes towards his opponent like a yellow shadow in motion.

"Coming here again?! You won't make it!"

Rodrick conjures black smoke around him again, spreading more than before.

But...

Stevent, running at lightning speed, suddenly disappears just before hitting the black smoke.

He vanishes as if into thin air in the midst of the fight.

"Huh?!" Both Rodrick and the students hiding behind him look around searching for traces of the vanished Stevent.

They've been spinning their heads around looking for any sign of the prince, but none can be found.

"From above?!" (Rodrick)

But there's nothing, his guess is wrong.

I'm sure Stevent wouldn't think like that, he must be thinking beyond mere distraction tactics.

JLAS! JLAS! JLAS!

Suddenly, from the wall, a rose-shaped ice emerges, clinging to the wall, scratching every sturdy wall there.

"Huh?! Ice roses? White roses? What does this mean?!"

Rodrick doesn't understand the meaning behind the magic.

But, I've seen it...

Right below there, precisely under the wall that Stevent's team passed through.

Sophia stands and looks up, her right hand reaching up as if reaching for something up there.

"Crush them!"

Instantly, the ice roses bloom and fill that part of the wall. The roses arrange themselves until they form an elevation that can be climbed like stairs.

Rodrick is agape, not believing what's happening.

"What does this mean?! Was Stevent's earlier attack just a distraction?!"

Unfortunately, I can reassure him. If what Rodrick said is the opposite.

What actually happened is...

CKRAS!

Stevent suddenly appears from above Rodrick and the students hiding behind him.

The royal sword he grips is currently enveloped in a combination of water and light magic.

Nothing seems unusual, it even looks quite ordinary.

But, if we use physics, then it's all different.

Water flying at high speed can shatter steel. That's what has been studied and clearly understood by us prestigious students of Podoagung School.

"Feel this!"

In the air, Stevent swings his sword and unleashes a wave of water from it. The water wave flies so fast that even shields made of ice and earth won't be able to stop it.

SLASH!

"ARGH!"

"GYAH!"

"DAMN!"

Rodrick and the other 6 are eliminated from the fight.

In the truth, Sophia's movement was the distraction.

Now that both teams have reached the top, it's my task.

My task is to command and give directions to them.

"Both teams, search for traps that are set above and near the gate there!" I say, raising my voice.

By giving a light code as a 'yes', they depart and search for the traps prepared to welcome our arrival.

Around 2 minutes later, both teams found all the traps and secured them.

Remaining team, Class 1 Physical 1: 18

Remaining team, Class 1 Magic 4: 20

Point of View: Rasyid Londerik.

I didn't expect it, but Stevent has really changed. From his way of thinking in battle to how he utilizes his team to divert the attention of his opponents.

Truly, it wasn't in vain that I trained him back then.

Oh my, don't get too cocky, me!

From behind the monitor, I can only smile and chuckle like a fool.

"Eh..." Ryan sitting beside me looks at me with disgust.
