Remnant of past

In the morning, the pale blue sky is floating with white clouds, the breeze blows the leaves beside the road, and the birds leap back and forth on the tree, as if telling people that a new day has begun. Students come out of their homes.

A girl saw something while jogging. It makes her coy laugh when she stops herself while holding her mouth. A person stumbled all around when he walked; he grabbed everyone's attention due to his sloppy walking style.

It was no one but our Santaka who was stumbling around. It is already evident on his face how much he gets exhausted because of last night. Anyhow, he can get back to his house, knock on the door, and with his husky voice, call for someone to open the door.

After a while, Nilam opened the door while yawning, and she saw that Santaka was standing. She was surprised because he didn't come back last night. "Where were you from last night, and look at your condition; you were not even able to stand appropriately? Come on, dumbhead, go and get fresh. We have to go for our classes, and the most vital question of the day is Chandraka; he also didn't come back last night."

"How should I know that Nilam I have my own task to persuade; now move from my path. I want to get some sleep. It's really the worst night for me, and please put my breakfast inside the refrigerator. I don't have any energy left for eating, and I will not go today for our class," replied Santaka in a hazy and weak voice while moving towards his room.

So, Nilam and Jay get ready, eat their breakfast, and shuttle towards their class.

Entering their respective classes. They saw that both the professor and Chandraka were in deep meditation.

"I told you we found him in the class. What kind of monster is he? He makes me more curious about him, looking at him Nilam thought," what a glorious manifestation of his inner energy he created. If I remember correctly, it is only possible for people who have reached the peak of the warrior stage."

Nilam, with a shocked expression, looked towards Chandraka.

"Did this guy leap across an entire stage of cultivation in one night? But how is this possible? Just what is the origin of this guy?"

On the other hand, Chandraka is standing and looking around the strange, unknown space around him.

"Where am I? What is this place?" muttered Chandraka as he looked around himself.

He was currently in the middle of nowhere, with a rocky mountain surrounding him with the wide-open sky above his head brightened by countless stars twinkling in the rhythm of his breath. It was mysterious, and the entire place gave him a sense of calmness and silence, to the point that he could even hear his breath.

'No, it's like I can control it. My breath, the flow of life energy. Just what is this weird place?'

In a place where he had already assumed that he was alone. He suddenly got an unexpected reply.

"This is the world of inner consciousness, the world without any boundaries, the world that exists between the material world and the non-material world. I never thought that I would meet you in such a manner." A sweet, neutrally loud voice reverberated throughout the surrounding area, causing the land under Chandraka's feet to shake as he tried to stop himself from falling. "Who are you? Show yourself?"

"Look who's talking? whose legs cannot even help you stand still on the ground, and you are questioning me? You are really daring, Chandraka or should I say Arjun? A mocking laugh resonated in his ears.

Hearing that, Chandaka was shocked and fearful. It was the first time someone had called him by his real name since he had transmigrated to the body of Chandraka. Not even his grandfather and aunt, with whom he had been living, were able to find any abnormalities in his behavior, as he tried his utmost to maintain the pattern of his former self.

"You should not be surprised. This world is a manifestation of your true self. Your experience of life and all your previous reincarnations are open books. Here, the question is whether you want to dig deeper into them or not. I am quite surprised and curious about you. Where did you come from? What is your past? All the memories of your past are strange and of an unknown world."

"Just who are you? What are you doing here in my world of inner consciousness?"

"I? I am a source of energy that flows in your body. I have been sealed in this body since the time of my birth by my original carrier, who is supposed to be your mother. You have inherited my original source power and supreme authority of Immortal Ashura." said the voice with great pride, but slowly it became low and lost as someone looked at him bitterly.

"But all of that was in the past. I have fallen long ago in the ancient war of immortals, all due to those Day Lords standing against me." A voice of nostalgia ranged in the space as it continued and looked at Chandraka.

"While in a past sealed state. I don't know what I should do. My source has already fused with you completely and inseparably. Meaning my life is completely connected with you. If you die, so will I. Some Days ago, I felt a sudden sense of crisis assaulting my existence. It seems that Chandraka had died at that time, and you took him over. So, after I found myself inside your inner world, I went through all your memories to get a better understanding of you. To negotiate with you on terms that can help us both?"

"What do you mean?" asked Chandaka with a little hesitation.

"The energy that is currently flowing in your body and causing your body to break down originates from me. You can say it's my extended body, which is slowly getting dissolved into you and becoming yours. But what about the power of the ring?"

Hearing that Chandraka was shocked.

"Yes, I have already taken it over and am currently using it as my alternative vessel, and I am using its power to protect your body from getting destroyed. You can say that I am currently also acting as the spirit of the ring as well as the controller of your original source power."

Chandraka understood that his life is currently in the hands of the being he is talking to.

"What do you want then?"

"Help, I need your help to create a physical body for myself that can act as my extension. As I have already told you, my source is inseparable from you, but I don't want to be your slave, which would work as a source of unlimited energy that you will continue to absorb until the eventful day you get full control over my source. I want freedom; I want to live and observe the outside world with my own eyes."

"How can I help you do so?" asked Chandaka. It was not like he had any choice after knowing that the ring that was supposed to protect his life was in the control of the opposite party, but there was a long period of silence before he finally heard the reply and the method as he slowly disappeared from his Inner consciousness world and opened his eyes.
