"Who am I to take care of others if I can't take care of myself?" She wondered to herself, but no matter how much she's aware of her capacity, she can't still help but extend her hand to Jerrod.
She's not sure if it's her initial affection for Jerrod or pity, but all she wants is for Jerrod to recover from the "sickness" she didn't realize she misunderstood.
"Okay! I'll send it to you later!" Jerrod beamed. He looks so bright and happy just receiving Larissa's mobile number.
Larissa didn't want to have their conversation outside any longer, so he pulled Jerrod's hand to guide him inside the tent. The heat was getting on her nerves, so she wanted to hurry to order ice and chew on it.
They went inside, and Jerrod just let Larissa pick the food, as it was his first time seeing such dishes. It's not the usual meal he sees in other restaurants he's gone to.
"Do you usually eat here?" Jerrod asked.
