"Promise me you have to watch me play."
Jerrod was stunned because of Larissa's wild, bright smile and shocking statements. His mind couldn't process everything well and turned chaotic with questions that he couldn't speak out.
She just quit her job just because of my compliments?
Didn't she need those jobs?
Doesn't she need more money than to play?
How am I supposed to take responsibility if she fails?
What if she can't afford her daily necessities?
Jerrod became anxious and wondered how he could take back the one simple compliment he blurted out without a second thought.
"You look pale. Did you go overboard with exercising? One lap is enough!" Larissa wiped Jerrod's sweat. (which is not actually his sweat, it's the water he poured). Jerrod is more dehydrated and fatigued from not sleeping than he is from running a lap. He felt more nauseous after he smelled the towel Larissa patted on his face.
"D-did you use this?"
