Larissa declared with confidence, "I bet Jerrod needs me more than you two!" She was bluffing, but she wanted to make sure that Jerrod's parents would know the real problem with Jerrod and not to make things worse for him.

She hopes that when Jerrod opens up to his parents, their reaction will not be the same as with Erwin.

However, Jean and Rodrigo's reactions were both different.

"What a shameless thought you have there! What can you do that we can't?"

Larissa felt scared by the deathly glares from Jerrod's parents, but she kept her courage and acted like it did not intimidate her. She imagines them as if they were rude, irrational customers that she usually encounters at the convenience store and holds her chin up.

"Jerrod shared his thoughts with me!"

The two scoff at Larissa and see her whole existence as a joke.

"What nonsense are you talking about?"

"What do you want?"
