"Why are you putting so much effort into getting dressed?" Jerrod asked while staring at Larissa's clothes scattered all over the bedroom. His heart breaks a little every time Larissa unfolds the clothes he effortfully organized in their walk-in closet, as half of them are taken out.
Without knowing what was breaking Jerrod's heart now, Larissa kept her eyes on her reflection in the mirror while fitting her fifth dress. She was actually panicking, as she was not prepared to meet Jerrod's parents. She usually talks to them bluntly and with less respect, so she's a little worried that they might oppose their engagement, so she wanted to impress them at least with her look, but she only remembered that her current set of clothes and dresses are all black and dark colored.
All of them scream indifference and shrewdness, which she feared Mr. and Mrs. Guillermo might misunderstand.
"What do you mean, why? We are going to eat dinner with your parents!"
