"The only one waking me up from a dream.”

"D-did you have fun?"

Jerrod welcomed Larissa home after she said goodbye to Dalia, who didn't get out of her car anymore. It was Bucket who helped her carry all the shopping bags she brought, and she greeted Jerrod with a smile too.

It's not like she has already forgotten about her frustration, but after her time at the mall trying to ease her frustration, she realized that both of them will suffer if she keeps acting mad.

"I have fun."

Larissa continued to smile while she brushed her fingers through Jerrod's hair and fixed them. Jerrod looked really stressed. His hair was messy, his eyes looked tired, and his lips were chapped.

Larissa felt guilty for making Jerrod look like this. It's her fault that he's stressed, but she can't stop laughing in front of him.

"Are you playing at me, Rissa?"

Jerrod grabbed her hands and buried his oily face in her palm. As he spoke to her, his voice was on the verge of breaking down.
