Joyce sighed heavily and closed her eyes briefly. Sundays had always been a luxury, but she had never been so bored on one.
This Sunday, she was thinking of what to do. The entire household woke up late, but as fate will have it, she woke up early. Usually, she would have something to do, some assignment or some studying, but with the current condition of her life, she had absolutely nothing to do on a Sunday.
Sunday was officially boring.
She could not go out without someone's permission that she would rather not ask, she had nothing definitive to study about, Charles had given her the weekends to be completely off until he explicitly needed her. So, Sunday was a day she did nothing.
When did she reach such a point where Sunday was nothing but boring?
Maybe she could check out the library? Daphne had mentioned that almost everyone had a personalized section there for each of them. She could take any book she wanted or read them in the library alone.
