Sick Joke

I lay in the cold freezing night for hours, the only sound I heard was the crashing of the water on the side of the dock. I could barely move due to my body being so cold, my body felt numb as I lay there staring at the side of the old wooden dock. I was just holding out hope that Rupert or Lizzy who pop their head out, they would tell me it was some sick joke and it was all going to be okay. But that didn't happen.
