the lake woman
With a cut, the head of a hyena was detached from its body and fell on the ground.
The blood coming out of the corpse stained the Earth dark-red.
Jackson knelt before the beast's body. His whole figure was stained with hyena's blood, with minor wounds scattered throughout his body.
Jackson was extremely exhausted. He didn't even have the strength to get up.
Because of this, he began to circulate the energy of nature in his body.
Before long, all of his wounds were healed and the weariness gradually diminished too.
After that, Jackson used his sword for support and stood up, then looked back.
A trail of corpses and hyenas blood covered his vision.
The mountain bear and the black wolf were in a pile of corpses each.
Jackson called them back since the fight was over, not to mention that they received many injuries and needed to rest. He then moved on.
It didn't take long for him to find a lake.
Where he decided to take a break to rest.
Jackson stepped into the lake and began cleaning himself. The blood coming out of his body mingled with the crystal clear water.
The once clear water was slowly turning dark.
Jackson then began to hear a lovely voice.
"Amid cupid's arrow
Wealth is illusion
Only you can love me
My happy and good warrior"
He glanced at where this beautiful voice came from.
An incredibly beautiful woman was in the middle of the lake.
"Sorry, I didn't know there was already a person in the lake,"
Jackson said as he turned around. After all, the woman was undressed and if he watched her while being in this state, it would be a shameless act on his part.
"It's not your fault, you didn't know,"
the woman spoke carelessly. She had a beauty that would make any other woman envious.
"So, what's your name handsome boy?"
The beauty questioned as she stealthily approached him.
"I'm Jackson. I was just passing by when I saw the lake, so I decided to take some rest."
Jackson was a little embarrassed. He could feel that the woman was nearing him, it made him ashamed.
When he was on earth, Jackson did not have much contact with women other than his mother. The fact that a woman was approaching him who was even naked made him feel awkward, so he tried to fake it to the edge.
But before he could, his arm was grabbed by her.
"You need not be ashamed noble warrior. This lake has healing properties, so why don't you stay a little longer!"
She told while pulling him toward her.
The two got face to face and exchanged glances.
"No need to have prey. I like brave warriors."
She whispered those words in his ear.
"I've been feeling so alone and scared of a bad person trying to do something wrong to me but you won't leave me alone and defenseless. Isn't it?"
"No, I won't leave."
Jackson replied weakly, his eyes were misty and lifeless. He answered her with a lifeless voice.
"Great, I'm so happy to have a strong warrior protecting me now."
She then gripped his neck with her arms. But suddenly he started to get out of his trance.
"No. I have to go back, I can't stay,"
he spoke, trying to break free.
The woman's eyes changed to a black tone, she started singing a mesmerizing tune.
Jackson then lost consciousness again.
"Amid Cupid's arrow.
Wealth and illusion… "
She sang the melody as she dragged Jackson to the bottom of the lake.
He had entirely lost his senses.
If he were awake he could see that deep in the lake there was a mouth of a gigantic creature open.
It was terrifying, with hundreds of thousands of sharp teeth with a black hole in the middle that could swallow the sun itself.
The woman was taking Jackson into this big creepy mouth.
