Doctor Odette Is Checking On Rion's Condition

When you were singing, whose voice did you hear? Surely, your own voice, wasn't it? But for some people, the answer was different.

It seemed hard to believe, but it was experienced by those with dissociative identity disorder.

Several servants tried to eavesdrop on the conversation of the three people in the king's study. They were very curious about what the king and Knight Trish were talking about to Odette.

"Aren't you guys busy?" Anwen came and surprised them all.

"Go!" Before the maids made an excuse, Anwen immediately asked them to leave, and after all the maids had left, she peeked and overheard the conversation of the three people inside.

"So, besides Lucifer, who else appears frequently or ever?"

"A dog and a man who loves to dance, his name is Jack." Trish gave a description and Odette immediately wrote Trish's answer.

She was currently interviewing Rion and Trish.

"Only them?"

"Rine, he's a man who likes to hurt himself and really wants to end his life," Trish commented again, and Rion couldn't help but let out a tired sigh when he heard how messed up he was.

Odette was quite surprised when she heard about Rine's personality. If Lucifer was dangerous to the people around Rion, then Rine was dangerous to Rion himself.

"Does he show up often?" she asked.

"Not as often as Lucifer," replied Rion.

In Odette's records, there had been four identified personalities, but it was possible that the number would continue to grow. Odette couldn't imagine how difficult it was to be Rion, who had to live life with a fragmented personality.

"Is there anything else?" Odette tried to get as much information as possible. Before entering the 'how' and 'when' questions, Odette would first focus on the 'who' questions.

"That's all," Trish said.

Odette raised her eyebrows. She remembered Bee who called her mom. "Are you sure?" she asked and Trish nodded.

"What about Bee?"

Trish had a confused expression on hearing Odette's question, while Rion looked surprised and that expression was immediately caught by Odette's blue eyes.

"Do you remember anything, Rion?" she asked him.

"How did you know about Bee?"

"Bee appeared when we spent the night in the cave," said Odette, which made Rion's eyes wide open, indicating that he was very surprised. Trish, who was listening to them, was surprised, but also confused at the same time, because he didn't know anything about Bee

"Rion, if you want me to help you, you have to open up. I will find it difficult to help you if you give me half-assed information," Odette explained.

Rion rested his elbows on the table then intertwined the fingers of his hands, and buried half of his face behind the interlocked fingers. His eyes looked straight at Odette, but his mind wandered to the past

He remembered an incident in the past. When he was six years old, he suddenly woke up in his mother's room and beside him was his grandmother and also two priests. Rion didn't understand why he was in his mother's room, and what the two priests were doing.

What confused Rion the most was, his grandmother asked 'who are you?' to Rion when clearly Rion was his grandson.

Rion only understood when he heard her grandmother's conversation with the two priests, they were discussing Bee, the evil spirit that possessed Rion, and had made Rion cry for three days and three nights, looking for his mother.

The two holy men asked Her Highness Cristela to summon them again if the evil spirit named Bee possessed Rion again, but fortunately, Bee never returned. It was Bee's first and last time appearing.

"I didn't know he was also my split personality," Rion said after a moment of silence. He also told Odette about Bee who appeared when he was six years old. "It's been so long, I almost forgot about him, he only appeared that one time."

From Rion's description, Odette suspected that it seemed that Rion already had DID when he was six years old.

"What did Bee tell you in the cave? Did he do anything weird?" Rion asked curiously. He wondered why Bee had suddenly appeared after so long.

"He called me mommy."

Hearing Odette's words, Rion immediately choked on his own saliva until he coughed. Not only Rion, but Trish too.

Trish wanted to laugh, but he held it in, for fear of being considered a sinner for laughing at someone else's plight. He could only clear his throat and immediately neutralized his expression.

"Then what was he doing?" Rion asked after clearing his throat, because his throat suddenly felt parched. He was trying to stay calm and look as normal as possible even though he was actually embarrassed and now he was a bit tense waiting for Odette's answer.

He didn't forget when he woke up in the morning and found himself hugging Odette while they were in the cave. Like Rion, Odette remembered when Rion hugged her, but what Odette focused on was Bee calling her mommy and Bee's words, and that he didn't want to be left behind and was afraid to be alone.

"Nothing," answered Odette.

She would not tell Rion about Bee hugging her tightly. Not for the moment. Odette didn't want to make Rion feel embarrassed, because it would make Rion feel uncomfortable talking to her.

Odette read her notes. There were five alters that had been found. She got Lucifer, a dog, Jack, Rine, and Bee.

Odette had met the dog, Lucifer, and Bee, but she had not met Jack and Rine.

"Are there any more?" She asked to be sure.

Rion and Trish seemed to think together. Then after a while Trish spoke up. He said, "I think that's all."

Odette looked at Rion, waiting for the man's answer.

"Nothing," said Rion with a flat tone and face.

Odette looked back at her notes. Now, she was about to start asking about when and how the alters appeared.

Meanwhile, outside the room, Anwen, who was eavesdropping on the conversation of the three people inside, was surprised by the arrival of a soldier who wanted to meet the king because he had a message to convey.

Anwen pulled the soldier away from the door, and asked the soldier to say what he wanted to say to her. Anwen said that she would pass the message from the soldier to her brother.

The soldier nodded in agreement and conveyed a message from the leader of the southern border guard troops that Emperor Dario and his three thousand troops were currently marching towards Panthera.

"W-what?!" Anwen's eyes widened. She was very surprised to hear what the soldier had just said.

"We will prepare and wait for the king's orders," said the soldier, bowing respectfully, and then left Anwen, who still looked very surprised.
