Act 20. Ramona and Demona, Part I

So, this what Rae was dreaming about:

Ramona was seen walking with someone beside her, and they seemed very close, walking while talking about anything, together. Ramona, who was most likely thirty-five years old, still had long gray hair, which extended down to her chest. Her two white eyes were filled with joy whenever she heard someone next to her talking about many things.

Ramona looked very happy to hear that person, oh, no, that woman.

The woman next to Ramona who was talking to her, had brown hair that was short only to her chin, and her eyes were grey. That woman was Demona. The two of them, Ramona and Demona, seemed to be good friends and indeed, they were previously good friends, who were very close to each other.

Ramona was always there for Demona, and vice versa. Demona was an orphan. She had never been loved by her parents, and when she was six years old, her parents then divorced. Both of her parents were low class wizards.

Her father and mother always fight about anything, so Demona almost never got the love of her parents. Because her mother remarried to another wizard while her father suddenly died, Demona then had to live alone until one day, Ramona's parents invited her to live with them, because Demona was Ramona's father's student, of course, Ramona's father was very happy when Demona accepted his invitation.

In the end, Demona and Ramona got along very well since childhood, always together and very close to each other. Demona greatly respected Ramona's kind-hearted parents, who had taken care of her as if she were their own child.

When they were both teenagers, because of illness, finally Ramona's mother had to die first. Ramona, who was very sad at that time, was always accompanied by Demona until her sadness could turn into a smile, however, not for Ramona's father.

He continued to grieve after losing his wife, until finally he died four years after his wife first left them. Ramona was very sad to lose both her parents, now only she and Demona were left.

Demona felt like thanking Ramona's parents for taking good care of her, so now she had to be a good friend to Ramona.

And thus, the two of them always did anything together, however, Demona often went to the human world, alone without Ramona, because Ramona, her time was mostly spent teaching young wizards. Until one day when Ramona and Demona were both thirty-five years old, an incident occurred that would change everything.

One day, Demona invited Ramona to go to the human world, only to walk around at night there. Ramona agreed, after all, she was already very upset with the amount of work she had to do, as a caretaker of the Axell Building.

"Those senior wizards over there are so annoying. Just because this is a new job for a young wizard like me, they all put a huge burden on me. If I knew they would treat me like this, I'd better go back to being a magic teacher, dammit!" said Ramona who looked very annoyed.

Demona just smiled at her friend's words, then replied, "Since both your parents died, you yourself said that teaching young wizards would remind you of your parents, and you yourself wanted to be the caretaker of the Axell Building, even though you already knew yourself inside that building is full of old senior wizards, gathered just for the fun of it, and being the caretakers there, which means, you're just as troublesome for yourself, with their strange requests."

Ramona nodded at Demona's words, and she said, "Yes, you are absolutely right. Now, okay, what can I do?"

Demona then smiled, then whispered softly, "Soon, it will be night time in the human world. You are going to come with me, right?"

Ramona immediately nodded. The two of them then sat on the sofa while waiting for the night time in the human world.

When the time had come, Demona then stood up and raised her right hand forward. She then with her magic power, opened a portal to the human world. Ramona immediately smiled, and then they entered the portal, after that, the portal disappeared. They were now in the human world, precisely in a forest with very beautiful scenery.

Excitedly, they rushed to run towards a small town next to the beautiful forest earlier. It was already night, around seven o'clock in the human world. Quickly, Ramona and Demona had arrived in the middle of the small town.

A festival was held there. A fireworks festival, where everyone would dance and sing to celebrate this year's harvests. Since people were already so crowded in the middle of the town, Ramona and Demona just walked briskly towards the night market.

They were immediately attracted by all the snacks, food and drinks, to hair accessories, women's jewelry, shoes, sandals, and various knick-knacks that people at the night market offered.

Demona then accidentally, looked at someone, a man, who seemed to be tidying up his stall. The man was very handsome and dashing. As if love at first sight, Demona's heart beat very fast when she saw this handsome man.

Because her heart was very curious to know more about that handsome man, she immediately walked towards him. Ramona was surprised when she saw Demona suddenly change her direction. At first, they both wanted to enjoy some food in the corner of the night market, however, because Demona was very curious about this handsome man, she immediately turned around until Ramona had to chase after her.

Demona finally arrived in front of the beverage stall managed by that handsome man. Ramona, who had been chasing after her earlier, was now standing next to Demona, watching her best friend, who seemed a bit different from usual.

Demona herself kept staring at the handsome man with an amazed expression, Ramona did not know what she was thinking, and began to feel that something was wrong with Demona, she even gently patted Demona's shoulder many times, however, it seemed that Demona was only focused on staring at the handsome man until Ramona herself started to feel annoyed.

The handsome man seemed to be aware that he was being watched constantly by Demona, so he came out of his beverage stall, then approached Demona, and asked, "Miss, is there anything I can help you with?"

However, Demona was staring still at the handsome man silently, and did not even answer the handsome man at all. She just stared at that man still with an amazed expression.
