Avalon's POV
"You...killed....him?", Charles stuttered.
She nodded absentmindedly at him, "After he cut his wrist, he stuck it in my mouth. And when the blood touched my tongue……….”, she stopped before lightly shaking her head,” When I came to, he was already gone.”
"Gaia that wasn't your fault.", I whispered.
"If I had listened to William when he told me I’d regret it, Andrew would’ve never died. I would have preferred to give him up if it meant he'd be alive right now. He sacrificed his life for me and look what happened.", she said.
"He loved you and he made his choice.", Charles said.
I can't imagine what she's been going through, the pain she felt all these years, and the guilt of knowing her mate died by her hand. She won’t even believe it wasn’t her fault. Somehow this revelation…... I have more questions than I did before. The more she reveals; the more my curiosity is triggered. Sighing, I rubbed my temple as questions ran rampant in my mind.
