FALSEHOOD

Avalon's POV

I watched as Gaia spoke to Thomas in worry, "I need my sword from the safe at the castle."

I grabbed her hand as she attempted to pass me for the tenth time, "Gaia look at yourself. You're barely walking. You've lost a tremendous amount of weight. You haven't eaten in months, you're paler than usual and you haven't gotten over what happened with William."

She snatched her hands from her grip and rolled her eyes, "I'm fine." I stared at her properly for the first time in weeks. Her eyes and cheeks are slightly sunken, her hair frazzled, skin a charcoal gray. All signs of her not taking care of herself.

I clenched my jaw in anger, "No you're not and you know it. Look at yourself!!"

Now was not the time for her to be stubborn.

"I can't lose you.", I grabbed her cheeks.
