Second Attempt

"SOLARIS! My boi" Gupalo said as he saw Solaris coming towards him with a big smile on his face.

" Gupalo," David said as he came closer to the monster.

"I vating for you for a lot of time," Gupalo said while smiling.

"I would have come earlier, but I got your message late," Solaris said.

"Good thing you are here. Now lets go, we had to talk about something." Gupalo said.

And just like before, David started Gupalo towards his office. And just like David had guessed before, Gupalo's office was just beyond the wall of the warehouse. This essentially meant that David could use those stacks of gunny sacks to climb up to the wall and into his office

Just like before Gupalo mumbled about how he raised Solaris. And just like before, Gulap took him to his office…

David clearly remembers that Gupalo would kill him because of the golden pin that Solaris came across. But this time David wanted to try something else. He wanted to try and fight Gupalo this time. And maybe die less painfully than acid being sprayed on his face.

As they reached the office, David saw the messy office of Gupalo. Seeing the messy settings, David got an idea. If he plays his cards right then he could find some useful information as well as steal some useful stuff from Gupalo…

"Now back to business… Tell, how you came across this" Gupalo said while putting something on the table. When Gupalo moved his hand out of the way, David saw the golden pin once again.

"I will be totally honest with Gupalo… I don't know. When I woke up after the crash, people told me that I had this in my hands. And that is all I know about that thing. By the way, what is it?" David asked.

"It is a mage's artifact. Powerful tools these are. Awakened one pay a lot for such things." Gupalo said.

"So how much do these things cost?" David asked.

"This thing broken. But when it sells, we know its cost." Gupalo said.

"How do you know that this thing is broken?" David asked.

"I tell you its broken. I am awakened one. That is why I knew." Gupalo said.

"Hmm…" David said then he leaned forward and picked up the golden pin. As soon as David picked it up, a few messages appeared in front of David's eyes.

Seeing those messages, David remain expressionless, but he then noticed Gupalo glaring at him. Seeing this David understood that something was wrong. He can clearly remember that during his previous encounter with Gupalo, that monster was constantly smiling while looking at him. And not for an instance, Gupalo changed his expression.

But as David saw Gupalo glaring at him, he understood that maybe something is wrong…

"By the way Gupalo, I wanted to ask you something. Could you tell me more about magical potential?" David asked.

"Magical potential?" Gupalo said.

"Yes you see, as soon as I woke up I started seeing these floating words in front of my eyes. And those words gave me a power." David said.

"What power?" Gupalo asked.

"A power that goes something like this…" David said. And then he opened his status window and then the inventory. And after that, David inserted his golden pin inside the black hole. As soon as he did that, his eyes were swarmed with a bunch of messages…

{Host had managed to gain access to mysterious welcome package}

{The time for the Armaggedon is extended by 2.5 years}

Reading those messages, David was surprised. He knew that the time to Armageddon would extend but he did not know that he would two additional rewards. David became slightly happy seeing that had received two rewards.

"How you do that?" Gupalo suddenly got and asked David. Seeing his reaction, David started thinking that his plan might actually work...

"I don't know. But those words said that when would a make certain gestures a hole will open beside me. And when that would happen, I can store all of the kind of stuff inside it." David said.

"All kind of stuff?" Gupalo asked

"Yes, all kinds of stuff," David said.

It was then David started his master plan. Previously when David came here, he remembers that the weapons in Gualpo's office were quite nice. So to demonstrate more of his powers, David then went on choosing a weapon from Gupalo's collection and storing them in his inventory.

At one point, Gupalo came to David and started checking his body himself. He checked his arms. And yet he could not find anything. David was happy to see this. Now his plan had come to completion. Now all David needs is to die and then he could wake again in his hut…

"I call some friends. They tell what happened to you… But before that give the pin." Gupalo said.

"But you said that the pin was broken. I could not be sold." David said.

"Yes. But still, I buy from you. Give me pin." Gupalo said.

"Well, that is the thing. I cannot do that. The thing is I know how to put the stuff in. But I don't know how to take stuff out." David said innocently.

"Lie!" Gupalo yelled.

"No, it is true. I cannot make it come out. Maybe after I practice some more, then I could maybe make it come back." David said with a smile.

But till then it was too late. Gupalo glared at him angrily and punched David straight in his face. The punch was so powerful that it made David fly backward while tearing the walls of the warehouse.

Even after tearing up the walls, David didn't stop and crashed into some earthen pots. Those earthen pots had gooey stuff which exploded as soon as David crashed landed on it…

David laid on the ground with burns covering all of his body. He had little to no life left in him. He could see the destruction that was caused by the pots. But it was then with his dying breath he saw Gupalo walking towards him. Because of blurry vision, David was not able to see clearly but from the looks of it, Gupalo looked unscathed….

David abruptly woke up yelling profanities "FUCK! FUCKITY FUCK FUCK!"

As he saw that he had woken up in a very very familiar hut once again he stopped cursing and sighed. David was feeling very uncomfortable at the moment because going back in time helps with the pain. But still, it takes some time to shake off the feeling of your body being burned to char…

David was used to this by this time, so he quickly shook off his drowsiness. Then went towards the clothes hanging by the side of the room. He grabbed them quickly and ran outside.

David wore his clothes as he walked towards the market. And as he reached the market he was fully dressed. David then opened his status window and checked his inventory. And sure enough, the inventory was filled with items that he stored in his walkthrough…

While shopping in his previous life, David eventually came across a shop that was selling roasted meat. As David was busy at that moment, so he didn't went inside. Thinking back, David thought that he had suffered a lot since he woke up in this world. And yet till now, he didn't try the cuisines of this world. Thus David decided that he would sit down in that shop, have some food, and then he would initiate his plan.

The shop that David planned on eating at was very small in a very secluded alley. Thus there was very little chance that he would end up meeting with baldy or the murderous duo of those boys. Since he had some amount of money with him because of the courtesy of the baldy, David straight away ran towards the shop…

As he got to the shop, he looked around to see whether there is anyone familiar roaming around. After he made sure that there was no one around, David entered the shop.

He couldn't say that this shop was the nicest or the cleanest shop that he had ever been to. But if compared to this shop being located in the slums, this shop was quite nice and clean. Thus David ordered some meat skewers for himself.

After ordering some skewers which smelled delicious, David sat down at a table at the end of the shop. After he sat down, David started thinking about things that he had found out till now…

There was no way to say this, but currently, he was enslaved by this so-called The Wild Hunt system. If he doesn't follow the system's orders then he would die over and over again when Armageddon comes. But the real question that was bugging David was how a little pin could delay Armaggedon? And that too by 2.5 years. That is just absurd.

And if the system is right then there are around 12 more of these kinds of pins in this world. How the hell is he supposed to find them? It is not like he had a map that marked the locations of each of these pins. And there are 13 humans that he had to hunt. They could be scattered all around the world as well. All of this would have a very very difficult task to complete in a lifetime. But luckily he had a curse which gave him all the time in the world…

David had a lot of questions about these pins and what these things do. But he knew that he could find all the answers to all of his questions while sitting in this dump. That is why first and foremost, he needs to get out of this shitty place. So David decided that he should plan his heist for now. And after he had left this village he would start investigating those pins afterward…

After David ate skewers, he brought two bottles of liquor from the same shop. And while the shopkeeper went inside his shop to bring liquor, David quickly stole two cleaning cloths from the owner's kitchen.

After he had paid for his meal, David started heading toward the slums…

David soon reached the warehouse after navigating through the slums. This time he wound up in front of the warehouse. So he navigated towards the back and soon saw the familiar field, used as the transportation hub by the warehouse.

As David reached his destination, he turned back and got back into the alleyway and started making some distance between him and the warehouse. There were a lot of eyes on the warehouse and its surrounding. That is why to set up his plan, David needed to go back a little bit where he could not be seen.

David made his way towards an alley that was empty and there were no guards stationed there. David then took out an item from his inventory that was very crucial for his plan. And that thing was a crossbow that he stole in his previously from Gupalo's office.

He then took the arrow from the crossbow. Then he took out the cleaning cloth and alcohol that he brought from the restaurant. David then sprayed some of the alcohol onto the cloth. Then David took out a small metallic capsule from his inventory.

David brought this capsule previously when he went on a shopping spree. This capsule was lighter of sorts, but it didn't need gas or anything to work. At the end of the capsule was its cap. When somebody would open it, it would reveal a bright red color stone. That stone was very hot and is very helpful in igniting joints that most people in the slums smoked..…

From what the shopkeeper told David, this lighter could be used for 3 months and then the stone needs to be recharged. The lighter was very costly, but David still bought it.

David then lit a fire to the cloth and quickly stored it in his inventory. He wanted to see whether the fire on the cloth would be extinguished in his inventory or not. After putting the cloth in, David then touched the black hole once again and started to feel the things inside it. He could feel the cloth, but the same couldn't be said about the fire.

So David took out the cloth but then he was surprised as he got burned by the cloth. David's burned hand stung a lot, but still, he smiled as he saw that the fire could survive his inventory…
