Hell hath no furry over a devil angered

A growl shook the foundation of the forest. I felt it deep within my soul that was on the verge of being extinguished.

I felt the hand of the male, tightly holding on to my neck, go slack.

With nothing to stop me from falling, I fell to the floor as the darkness finally took over me.

When the human ran away, I had the thought to let him go. He needs to have a moment with himself before I go for him like I always do.

But I felt the need to follow him when I thought about the possibility of him harming himself.

What if he decides to keep himself all for a single mistake? A mistake that can be righted by having a talk.

I ran after him, but made sure to keep a notable distance between us. This way, should he think about harming himself, I'll be there on time to save him from doing so.

Following him close by, I saw him enter the forest, and that was when I decided to allow him some time alone.

It's now obvious he's not planning on harming himself like I earlier thought. He just wanted to have a moment alone, to process everything that has happened to him.

Had he wanted to kill himself, he would have flung into the dark waters. But the fact he ran into the forest, proved he's not after getting himself killed.

I decided to rest on the bed I conjured, this way, I'll give him the privacy he so deserves, and also have a much-needed rest.

Lyart said the truth when she commented on my trip to the human world. I just fought with the holier than though air beings, and she was against me going to the human realm.

She believes it's not good for my inner powers should I overexert them every chance I get, that was why she advised me to postpone my wedding with the human prince. But I didn't listen, and I never seem to listen.

I felt as if someone is trying to tip my heart off my chest. The pain is unlike any I've ever seen, it's one that made me hunch over in pain.

I growl in pain as I clutched my chest, trying to override an unfamiliar kind of pain. I've never had an experience with this kind of pain. Not even the air beings can boast of inflicting such pain on me.

The pain felt raw. It felt—

As sudden as the pain came, it disappeared. Had it not been for how excruciating the pain was, I wouldn't have believed anything happened.

What was that?

I sat back on the conjured bed as I tried to think about the strange pain I felt minutes ago.

The human!

I immediately rose from the bed and ran to the place my human bride was supposed to be.

I growled in anger when I saw the scene in front of me.

Three lower-level demons and their high prince were—

My eyes changed immediately, I saw the Demon strangling my bride.

I roared in anger.

The demons shivered in anger when they saw me.

The Demon prince hastily let go of my bride's neck and stood aside.

"My king." He bowed to me, "the human—"

I flicked my fingers and had him in a chokehold. He struggled to release himself from the grip I had on him, but I raised my hand. Conjuring my fire, I sent it towards him. At the same time, I tightened my grip on his neck.

"Please have mercy, my king." His servants bowed lowly to me. " Please have mercy on our master."

They shivered at the fire in my eyes.

" Shut up!" Stomping my feet on the ground, it opened and swallowed the screaming servants who weren't expecting it.

The demon prince struggled to remove my grip from his neck. But I tightened it the more.

"You dare put your filthy hand on my bride?" I growl at him.

At my words, his eyes widened in surprise.

Guess he wasn't aware of the fact he touched my bride while trying to show his supremacy.

He screamed in pain when I ripped his right finger off. But his screams were cut short by my air that's tightly cutting off his windpipe.

His screams did not satisfy me. I want him to feel the pain I felt when he touched my mate. I want him to feel the indescribable pain I felt just minutes ago.

I threw his arm into a mini fire I conjured in my anger. The dark thunder roared as my eyes got darker.

My anger has gotten up, and it's only a matter of time until Lyart discovers this. Only a moment more, until the sky changes its colours.

I ripped off his legs, and he screamed like a mad man. His green blood seeped from the wounds, but I wasn't satisfied.

And I don't think I'll ever be satisfied until I see his death. Even at that, I don't think I'll be satisfied with his death. If it's possible, I'll love it if he can reincarnate for me to kill him all over again.

He screamed once more. But I didn't stop my assault on him. I ripped off his other arm, together with his leg.

"Kill—" He pants. "Kill me now," he begged.

"And you think I'll do so?" I threw them into the fire as I advanced toward the hovering male. "I'll make you regret the day you thought to put your hands on my human." I growl at him," in your next life, if you'll have that. You'll learn never to bully others with your power. "

As I talked, I conjured a sword. The fiery sword came at my bidding.

"I hope you get enough time to think about your actions." I slashed through his body.

His screams spurred me to cut him more. I slashed through his body, just like how a butcher does a beef.
