A sense of Deja Vu

Just like Sarit said, going with the stupid demon wasn't all that bad. At least I got to see most of the rooms I wouldn't have seen had I gone alone.

He was saying the truth when he said he knows this place like the back of his hand.

"This is the second palace. Although it hasn't been used for a long time, Lord Kelin takes care of it." He pointed at a staircase that was hidden by a large pillar, and a painting that seemed like it was kept there to keep people out.

Had the stupid demon not followed me, I wouldn't have known there was a staircase here.

Hell, I would have returned after checking on the wives' chambers.

"Second palace? Hmm, let's go." I started walking towards the stairs, but he stopped me.

"Half of this place is off limits. I don't think we should waste our time here. Let's check on the other places. I bet you will see a place—"

"Let's go. I want to see what's in there."
