"Ke-nny," she whispered his name as he pressed her gently and slowly to the table that soon she had to place her hand on his chest.

"I can't stand it," his voice was intense but she didn't look up, she only swallowed hard and listened to his heartbeat that beat calmly.

"I can't stand your distance, Mona. About last night, I'm sorry," he touched her chin to lift her face to look at him but still, she looked down.

"Listen to me baby, I'm sorry, don't be upset more than this, I...I can't take it anymore, especially your silence." His explanation made her heart soften.

"B-Bu-ut why did you lie last night? You said that... You aren't the man that..." She now looked up at him only for him to lean in and touch her lips with him.
