Kathryn didn't know how to feel but she had this feeling that made her feel like crying but she smiled and cheered up. She walked into his shop to inhale a pleasing aroma that made her suddenly hungry.

Lucas lifted his gaze as he was always seated in the reception area, it was his business after all. He was a baker.

"Ah," he sighed. "Here I thought I had a customer," he stood up and went around the table to attend to her so she'd leave.

"I'm sorry," she apologized and made that kiddish look. "I just need money. My teacher barely takes care of me because he's married already and..."

"That's not my business," his face was void of expression as he cut her off.

"All right, how much for a night then?"

"Don't you have shame? I'm a married man!"

"I know, it's just to sleep on the bed with you, it isn't a big deal."

He sighed and looked away in disgust. "I knew you were a whore the moment I saw you," he pointed.
