A Must Bond

Was he supposed to be scared of a shark when he could just attack the creature with his claws? But at the moment he was out of energy. He was still wondering how he was still alive and now, the shock brought him to lose everything that was bringing him to the top, he let out the last breath that was holding him and then he began sinking to the bottom.

'Kathryn you didn't have to do this' he said as he closed his eyes to finally give up. It was perhaps for the best. His life had been so hard and maybe it was time to die and come into a body that would surely enjoy the luxury of life.

"Lucas!" He heard her voice but the bubbles came together and when he looked, he saw the shark transforming into the mermaid he was searching for. All he could do was chuckled and let go at last.
