A Must Bond

Lucas let the girl in before locking the door behind him, making Kathryn realized that she was really in for it and he was going to fulfil his promise tonight. She sat on the floor after planting some of the drinks in the fridge.

She handed one of the drinks to Lucas and opened the drink in her hand before quaffing.

"Why does it seem like you don't want me and are unhappy about my presence?" Lucas asked after staring at her face for a while, studying her actually.

Kathryn lifted her eyes to look at him. "Does it seem that way?" She asked. "I... I broke up with Ryan and he felt bad."

"I feel bad too for finally breaking the relationship with my wife but I'm very happy to be with you."

"It's just because of the sex...you don't really..." He cut her off.

"Is that what you've always thought?" He asked. "That all I want from you is sex?" He dropped the can with him and held her chin to face him.
