A Must Bond

Mona looked at Kathryn and placed her hand on her leg. "You good?" She did notice the sadness on her face and how quiet she was. If she was excited about leaving she'd have asked questions and would have told her some things about Lucas but she was quiet and when she looked at Mona, she squeezed her lips and nodded her head.

"I'm good," she lied and continued to stare at her fingers.

"You don't look good," Mona pushed it.

"I...you guys were leaving me so I was thinking, what if I hadn't come to visit?" She stole a glance at Kathryn.

"And why did you suddenly come to my house? Usually, you don't come. What happened?"

"Wel-l-l something happened and I haven't been able to share it with you."

"No..." She received that look for Mona. "Alright, alright... Lucas climbed on top of me last week, we had sex and has been getting intimate from then and..." She suddenly didn't know what to say.
