9. Had this been been the life he wanted?

Mona had been hearing his voice, his cries and his desperation and his misery. She had also been hearing her baby's voice but she missed her husband more than anything.

Hearing him felt as if she should just see him and kiss all over his face and assure him that she was alright but she wasn't in power.

And now that she saw her husband and was now having him wrap her, she felt this exceeding joy in her heart and she suddenly felt like exploding because she missed him.

Kenny also felt the same. He hadn't kissed his wife, he hadn't looked her in the eyes or hold her like this for more than a year and it had been nothing but misery.

He had his daughter but his daughter made him miss his woman more because she had her mother's eyes.

Mona had wanted to run to him and hug him as tight as she could but the moment her legs touched the ground, she lost her stance and couldn't feel her legs. Every part of her felt numb.
