"Hey?"
As a cord was stuck inside her, Victoria snapped her eyes open before turning her head to glare at the boy viciously.
"Do you know why this happened?!" She hissed. "Do you know why any of this happened!"
He remained silent but Victoria did not stop.
"you!" She screeched like a monkey. "You! It all happened because of you!" She pointed her finger at him widely carrying on with the accusations. "All because of you. I am here because of you, Leah died because of you!"
She kept on chanting accusations into his direction before she broke down completely. Someone had touched her inappropriately but that was the least of her concerns now.
The man had been so close to her, almost mounting the top of her and was ready to rape her had it not been for the another guy. The guy had also not stopped him much to her horror. He only went away because the woman called him.
She was seconds away from being ripped apart by a man and who knew how many more after that.
"Hey," she hiccuped and was about to look up when she felt arms go around her before being pulled to a soft, yet firm chest.
"It's okay," he patted her hair, " try it out. I know you're scared."
"I-I am." She Left before taking the given opportunity and crying out as much as she could and as loudly as possible.
The feeling did not wash itself away from her. She could feel his touch, she could constantly feel the and buckling of the belt in her ears.. and his hands… She could still seal his hands on her.
Her cheek that had been smashed against the ground also pained. That was a constant reminder of what had unfolded.
It was all too much.
As her sobs quietened down to hiccups, Victoria became more aware of his surroundings and noticed one thing in particular. The boy had moved from his space over the corner of the room and was now hugging her, patting her back like she was an old friend.
"Is it worth it?" She asked in a small voice, afraid of something, everything. "Is not speaking worth everything, the death of a girl and what is going on with me?"
"Just say a word, and get it over with."
"I can't." He muttered. "I cannot let her break me."
Victoria kept her eyes closed. The same could not be said for her. After that one attempt of failed rape, that was enough to get her to do anything and everything they wanted.
Clearly they were not going to do anything to the boy but for her? She was going to be the collateral damage that no one was going to pay attention to.
She sniffed one last time before shuffling away from him and going back to her corner, giving him her bag.
"I really hope we get out of here, both of us." She swallowed the sob bubbling up. "because I sure as hell, am never wanting to meet you again."
That was certain. No matter what, she was never going to glance in the direction of the boy who had caused her so much just because he did not say a word.
