Leah jumped when she felt a hand touch her shoulder and whirled around only to freeze when she saw Aiden standing in front of her.
"You," She breathed out. " it's you.."
It was him, nobody else, especially not that woman. Even if she had to come out, she would come out of the lift and from behind her. So she was safe and alone.
God, what was happening to her! She felt like she was panicking for nothing, but the way her heart was beating, she felt scared.
"Leah," he cupped one of her cheeks, making her open her eyes. "What's wrong?"
His dark eyes were filled with concern as they continued to stare at her, gorging for any kind of reaction. He knew something was wrong in an instant.
The concern was overwhelming, just as sweet as it was. Because of the conversation she had with the woman, Leah already felt trapped and her mind and had less thoughts and talking to Aiden did not feel like the best option.
