Somewhere else

~Lucy Griffin~

"I care for the results that you got me and they are not up to the mark. I do not understand where you could have found yourself to be such a shortcoming," Richard Griffin, her grandfather said with an astonished look on his face, "as you have shown me to be. Do you think so, Lucia?"

Shortcoming was a very harsh word. She would not say that. Not every target was meant to be achieved the way her grandfather expected it to be.

The poor soul, barely in his 30s, was shaking in front of your grandfather. Someone, the employee knew, could blacklist him from the entire London to get a good job in.

"I suppose shortcomings are a part of a person. One should not dwell on it too much. I hope you can do better next time." She gave one look to the employee, push the file towards him and dismissed him.

Diplomatic, that's what Lucy was in front of her grandparents. Diplomacy was the best policy.
