Shen xue and Qian shu were surprised that the national husband had defended Yu xiao yan, while Director Jiang wasn't all that surprised, he had already figured out that Yu xiao yan might have a connection with eachother, although they were trying to hide it, he could tell they knew each other quite well.

In this scene, Shi jianguo and Dong chufeng had just returned to changpu city after they had fully recovered, all thanks to the help of Ming sheng. Shi jianguo had fallen in love with the little forest girl during their nursing period so he had brought her with them with the intention of getting married once they were back.

The two warriors received a glamorous welcome and we're carried straight to the king's palace.

"haha today is a joyous day, our bravest warriors are back and alive" Zhang Qiang king of changpu city exclaimed joyfully, Huang Daxian the son of Huang Bowen did a good job portraying the joy and elation of the king.

"brave warriors you have proved yourself to this city and shall surely be honoured" He continued.

Everyone was surprised at how well Huang daxian was acting, he had always been a shitty a** actor but because of his father Huang Bowen he still kept excelling no matter how netizens criticised him but now seeing him act this good it was like he finally took the right medicine.

"And as a reward, from this day Shi jianguo and Dong chufeng shall be head captains over the entire warriors of changpu city" He announced

"Thank you my Lord" Shi jianguo and Dong chufeng bowed simultaneously. Shi Zeyi and Qian shu did perfectly well with showing the surprise their characters felt, they had not expected to be out in charge of the whole warriors.

'Ming sheng' stood by the side and looked at the man that had stolen her once lonely heart, he stood there valiantly emitting the brightest light she had ever seen. The expression of Yu xiao yan said that indeed she had fallen in love for the man.

'Shi jianguo' seemed to felt her lingering stare and turned to look at her, Qian shu was naturally just following the script but when he glanced at the girl's innocent smiling face, he had unconsciously smiled very gently.

Yu xiao yan: "..." isn't this smile a little too... too genuine?

Yu xiao yan had almost stiffened her smile out of reflex when she saw his overly gentle smile, she recovered Hersey and looked away shyly like how Ming sheng would have done.

The hall was I'm an uproar, the extras acting as villagers began acting like they were astonished by the fairy like beauty before them, actually they didn't have to do much, they just had to show they true expression of how they felt about Yu xiao yan beauty.

The cameras focused on Dong chufeng whose gaze were fixed on Shi jianguo and Ming sheng's intertwined fingers, he looked away after few seconds and although he looked calm, his eyes betrayed him.

In the story, Dong chufeng had also fallen in love with the timid forest girl but unfortunately for him the girl had her eyes on his friend and hadn't even spared him a glance.

"say Ming sheng you have done us a huge favour, so say what you would like in return" Zhang Qiang asked curiously. The hall quieted down, the cameras zoomed in for a close up shot of the girls face as she answered the question. Everyone in the hall were waiting for this Ming sheng answer.
