Brother's talk (2)

"Now… after these all done, she will be free of worries and will think of you. Till then don't talk to her. Give her space. Let her process everything one at a time," Oscar said to her.

"If I do not appear in front of her, wouldn't that make her more angry?" Magnar asked.

"She will be, but she will calm down with time," he said. Magnar looked at him with uncertainty.

"But…" Oscar started again with a mysterious smile, making Magnar squint his eyes.

"...during this time, you should woo your father-in-law rather than my sister-in-law," Oscar said, making him widen his eyes in surprise.

Magnar sat in his chair, staring at Oscar in disbelief. The weight of his brother's words settled heavily on his shoulders. "Give her space? Are you serious?" he asked, incredulous. The thought of stepping back felt alien to him. He was used to taking action, not waiting idly by.
