Banished

"Richie how would you like to be banished with me for eternity, never to be allowed to step foot in Wyverdale again?" asked Tessa out of the blue as she was in bed with Richie, she was supposed to be sleeping, but here she was asking strange questions.

"You are supposed to be sleeping Tessa" replied Richard as he closed the book he was reading and he turned to look at Tessa, he sighed, it seems that letting her take that nap in the morning was a bad idea, now she would be even more energetic.

"Answer my question Richie" said Tessa

"Would you want to be banished with me?" she asked once again.

The truth was that Tessa was only being logical, because she was sure if the Royal family were not going to agree, they would end up being banished, never to step foot in Wyverdale ever again, which in her opinion was a very light punishment.

It was not like the Royal family were bad people, no far from it, they were honest people and just rulers, but on top of that they were used to getting the things that they wanted with ease and with no stress at all, they practically had everything presented to them on a silver platter.

And if by chance they rejected their offer (which they would), and the royal family did not take it lightly with them, it would only spell doom for their whole family, and then there would only be seven duke families in Wyverdale and not eight.

And hence why Tessa was getting herself ready to face banishment, and she had to be sure that her husband agreed with her and go anywhere with her no matter what happened.

"Richie would you want to be banished with me?" asked Tessa as she repeated her question again.

"Wildvine, I would be banished anywhere with you as long as were are together" said Richard

"I do not care if we live in a house, or a ship, or in a bush somewhere, we will always be together and that is what matters the most" he said very seriously.

"Aww Richie" said Tessa as she moved closer and she hugged Richard, he always knew just what to say to melt her heart.

He had never given her any reason at all, to doubt his love, his kindness, his sincerity and most of all his affection towards her, she considered herself very blessed to have him.

"I am glad that you do not say such sweet things on every occasion" said Tessa.

"Because I am sure that if you did, I would die from the kind of love you have for me, your affectionate declarations and most of all your care" she said as she hugged him even tighter as if she never wanted to let him go, which she did.

"Mhmm" said Richard as he went back to his one word answers, Tessa did not mind, because it was only what was in his heart that mattered, and she was sure that she knew what was in his heart.

"Wildivine I will be departing tomorrow" said Richard.

"Oh okay" said Tessa as she seemed sad.

"I will make sure to make my trip short" said Richard.

"Okay Richie" said Tessa.

"Where are you going Richie?" asked Tessa as she wanted to know.

"Somewhere Important Wildvine" said Richard.

"Somewhere important" he said.

"Well okay then" said Tessa as she closed her eyes.

"Journey safe Richie" she said.

"I will wildvine" said Richard as he leaned in and kissed Tessa on her forehead.

"Sweet dreams" he said as he smiled.

"You do not look well, is something the matter?" asked Ireti as Lawrence climbed into bed.

"You always know my feelings, you know me the most" said Lawrence as he smiled.

"If I do not, then tell me who will?" asked Ireti as she smiled.

"You are right my dear" said Lawrence as he smiled.

"But do tell me what is making your countenance so low?" asked Ireti.

"My dear Reti, it is Wura's matter, it seems that it is deeper than we both are aware of" said Lawrence as he sighed.

"Tessa informed me that the prince had already sent his royal messengers to deliver his request to meet the both of us urgently" said Lawrence.

"That does sound alarming" said Ireti.

"And I am honestly worried" said Lawrence.

"I do not know what to do" said Lawrence.

"Lawrence, do not trouble yourself" said Ireti.

"We do not want more grey hairs do we?" asked Ireti as she laughed.

"No dear we do not" replied Lawrence.

"So please rest at ease my love, everything will work out, it always will" said Ireti as she caressed Lawrence's cheeks.

"Thank you my dear" said Lawrence as he smiled.

"I will go check on Wura" said Lawrence as he stood up.

"Okay then" said Ireti.

Wura was sleeping soundly in her room, the lights in her room were switched off, and she could barely be seen, only her sleeping figure could be seen on her bed.

Wura's door was opened and she did not hear it at all, footstep could be heard entering her room.

The person walked closer to her bed, he bent down and he laid a gentle kiss on her forehead.

"You will be alright my dear" said Lawrence as he sighed.
