Secret

"Psst Wura" that was the whispering voice Wura heard as she was walking by, there she was minding her own business on a nice winter's day in her home.

"Huh??" she asked as she looked around, she could not see anyone in sight, she looked everywhere, as if the person who had called her was a ghost, but Wura did not believe in such things.

"Wura" came the whisper again and this time Wura was being creeped out, she began to look around once again, she was the only one in this part of the house, or so she thought, that was until her eyes caught sight of a piece of cloth.

She could recognize that certain piece of fabric from anywhere, she had seen it multiple times, and hence why she was very shocked.

"Uncle??" asked Wura in disbelief as she saw Richard and he seemed to be hiding???

"Shush Wura" said Richard as he came out of his supposed hiding and he shushed Wura.

"What in the heavens is going on??" asked Wura as she was worried, why was her uncle behaving so odd??

"Uncle why are you hiding??" said Wura as she just had to ask, this was a peculiar sight, Richard looked very suspicious, and he was whispering and hiding, as if he was running away from something, or a certain someone.

"Hush Wura before someone hears us" said Richard as he looked very weird right now.

"Uncle is something the matter?" asked Wura as she was worried, something horrible had to have happened for Richard to act this way.

"Wura, I require your assistance with something important" said Richard as he looked around as if he was worried that someone would hear them.

"Okay??" said Wura

"Is anything the matter Uncle?" asked Wura.

"No, everything is alright" he said.

"As I said earlier, I require your assistance" he said.

"Okay Uncle, with what exactly??" asked Wura as he did not know what her Uncle might have needed her assistance with?? Just what exactly would be so difficult for him that he would need her help.

"It is too dangerous to discuss here" said Richard as he looked around as if someone would accuse him of a crime at any moment.

"I have left you an unsigned letter in your bedroom, addressing what I require your assistance with" said Richard.

"Umm okay??" said Wura as she was utterly perplexed, today was really an extraordinary day.

"And one more thing, do not tell Tessa about this" he said.

"Umm alright??" said Wura.

"It will be our little secret" he said.

"Uncle, I cannot lie to you, I am highly doubtful of your behaviour right now" said Wura.

"Read the letter and everything will be revealed" he said.

"Please remember to burn the letter once you have read it" said Richard as he did not wait for Wura's reply and he walked away.

...

Wura entered her room and she closed the door shut behind her, if her Uncle went through so much trouble to say more than his usual one word answers, and he even went to the extent of sneaking around and sending her an unsigned letter.

She walked to her pink wooden dresser that was beside her bedroom window, and just as Richard had said there was an unsigned letter waiting for her there.

Wura picked up the letter, she sat on the edge of her bed, she tore the envelope open, and she read the letter.

"Oooooh so that is why Uncle was behaving so weirdly" said Wura as she laughed, what she just read was ridiculous that it was just soo funny, who knew that her Uncle could act that way just because of something like this???

"I do not believe that I know my Uncle at all" said Wura as she laughed to herself.

Wura stood up and she walked to the fireplace in the far end of her bedroom, it happened to be ignited and the fire was burning brightly, Wura threw the letter in her hand into the fire, just as Richard had asked her to do.

"Okay Uncle, I will assist you" she said as she laughed, it was now that she was more aware of the fact more than ever that love made even the strongest act stupid.

She knew deep within herself that nothing or no one would ever cause her to act so irrationally.

...

"My lady, My lady" called Dawn as she made sure not to run in the halls.

"My lady" called Dawn as lady Marli did not slow down at all.

"What is it Dawn?" asked Marli as she stopped in her tracks to open a door, which was to Dawn's benefit as she was about to break the rules once again and run.

"Ahhh My Lady" said Dawn as she caught her breath, she did not run, but she was trying to keep up with Lady Marli's quick, steady steps.

"Dawn what do I saw about running in the castle?" asked Lady Marli.

"I did not run My lady" said Dawn as she stood upright.

"So tell me why you are panting" said Lady Marli as she opened the double doors to the room and she walked in and Dawn followed behind her.

"My lady, I was trying to catch up with you" said Dawn.

"In any way my Lady, that is not the reason why I am here" said Dawn.

"The Prince has returned" said Dawn.

"That is good news, but please tell me how his return concerns me?" asked Lady Marli as she picked up some books.

"Oh well it does My Lady" said Dawn.

"His Highness had asked you to see him in his office" said Dawn.

"Why?" asked Lady Marli as she could not think of a valid reason why the Prince would ask for her.

"I do not know My lady" said Dawn.

"But what I am sure of is, he is waiting for you my lady" said Dawn.

"Alright then, Thank you for informing me" said Lady Marli.

"You are welcome My Lady" said Dawn.

"I must not keep his highness waiting any longer" said Lady Marli as she placed the books on the desk and she went on her way to the Prince's office.

...

"Your Highness you called for me?" asked Lady Marli as she bowed as Liam gave her the go ahead to enter his office.

"Yes lady Marli, please sit" said Liam as he gestured that she sit, which she did.

"I have something very important to discuss with you" said Liam as he looked at her.

"Alright, go ahead your Highness" said Lady Marli.
