Unexpected

Wura walked silently behind Liam, she was sure that when she was done with touring the entire Kingdom with him, her feet would have been aching, in fact they were already aching.

Liam realized that it was still too early for Dinner, and his Father would still have probably been working on important matters of the Kingdom, so he decided to make a little change in his plans.

They would still have dinner together, but that would be later, but for now he was taking her somewhere else, for her to meet someone who was very important to him and he could not wait for her to meet him, he was sure that they would get along very nicely.

...

"My Lady, My Lady" called Dawn as she entered into the room where Lady Marli was drinking tea and she looked peaceful, that was until Dawn came in, she looked very tired and she was heaving a bit, which meant that she was running in the Castle, yet again.

"*Sigh*" said Lady Marli as she put down the teacup, she could never get a moment of peace and quiet could she?? There was always something going on in this Castle.

"Whatever is the matter Dawn??" asked Lady Marli as she was getting herself prepared for whatever it was that Dawn wanted to tell her, it probably was not important ad Dawn made it up to be.

All the other maids in the Castle were always very quiet and reserved, but well Dawn, well she was her own creature entirely.

"My lady, I just heard from one of the guards" said Dawn as she was excited and cheerful.

"Wait, please wait, how did you hear from the guards if you were busy doing your duty in the kitchen?" asked Lady Marli with a raised eyebrow.

"Ahhh my lady, well the situation is that, one of the guards entered the kitchen for their break, and so he informed me of what I am about to inform you" said Dawn as she explained.

"I see" said Lady Marli as she did not believe Dawn at all, I mean for all she knew Dawn could have been lying, or maybe she was not, and she and the guard had a close relationship, but knowing Dawn, she knew that it was gossip she was here to tell her about.

"Yes my lady" said Dawn as she laughed sheepishly.

"That is besides the case my lady" said Dawn.

"Because the information I am about to tell you is very important, and it is not mere gossip, like you may think" said Dawn

"Out with it already Dawn" said Lady Marli as she was becoming weary of Dawn and she picked up her teacup and she sipped her tea.

"Anyway, My lady, the Prince was seen earlier today entering the Castle with his betrothed" said Dawn and Lady Marli looked shocked.

"Hold on My lady, because that is not all" she said as she was very excited.

"Not only did his Majesty bring here to the Castle with him, but she has followed him everywhere since they arrived, but I have even heard reports of him taking her to the knights training ring, and they were there for a while" said Dawn.

"This is... This is unexpected" said Lady Marli as she did not know what to say, had she and Liam not agreed to do all these formalities in three days time, seeing s he had asked for her opinion on the matter and yet he had gone and done this.

"My lady, even though I have not yet had the great privilege to meet our new princess, I have heard that she is a very fair maiden" said Dawn.

"In fact apparently her beauty is unmatched" said Dawn as if she had seen Wura with her own two eyes.

"And she appeared very young" said Dawn.

"Dawn you speak too much" said Lady Marli.

"My lady are you not excited?" asked Dawn.

"I am Dawn, but..." said Lady Marli.

"But what??" asked Dawn.

"His highness is not doing things according to tradition" said Lady Marli as she sipped her tea.

"But My lady that does not matter, they could be deeply in love and hence why they are rushing" said Dawn

"Regardless of that or not, he is the Prince and he must act accordingly" said Lady Marli

"My lady there you go one once again about tradition" said Dawn, as much as she respected Lady Marli, whenever the talk of tradition and culture came up, they both had opposing ideas.

Dawn believed that the youth of Wyverdale should be able to do as they please, without any reservation at all, while Lady Marli was old fashioned, and she believed that traditions should be followed to the letter with no questions asked at all.

"Tradition is what built this great Kingdom that we are all honoured to be people of today" said Lady Marli.

"Yes that may be true my lady, but there are just some traditions that need to be broken sometimes" said Dawn.

"Nonsense!" said Lady Marli

"Whatever you say My lady" said Dawn.

"All I am sure of is that I am so excited to meet the Princess, she must be a very lovely maiden" said Dawn.

"Mhmm" said Lady Marli, she did not look pleased at all.

"Well now that you have informed me, please go back to the kitchen and get started on dinner" said Lady Marli

"I take it that his highness's guest will stay for dinner" said Lady Marli.

"Alright my lady" said Dawn.

Lady Marli did not like this one bit, she was sure that is was that maiden that was making the prince forsake the tradition and move swift as if there is no tomorrow.

"I will be going now" said Dawn.

"Yes go" said Lady Marli.

"Are you going to supervise dinner today?" asked Dawn before she left.

"No... No I will not" said Lady Marli.
