Spider

Liam was the first one to come down from the Carriage, and even though she did not want to talk to him, or touch him right now, she still accepted his hand as he helped her down, but she said nothing to him at all, not even a thank you, she just held herself high as she walked into the Castle on her own.

"I am glad to see her back to her usual proud self" said Liam as he laughed to himself, he would take her pride rather than her sadness any day.

The night was very cold especially since it was winter and it was starting to snow, it seemed to be normal now for it to always snow at Night in Wyverdale, the sky was very dark, and there were few start in the sky, the moon was crescent shaped tonight.

Wura passed by the guards that were guarding the Castle doors, and she stopped right in her tracks as she entered the Castle, sure she wanted to act tough and proud, but she seemed to forget the fact that the Castle was too big, and she did not know where she was going to at all.

She did not want to get lost like she did last time, and of course she did not want to give Liam the sweet satisfaction of seeing her afraid of being lost so she stylishly stopped in her tracks, by pretending as if there was a pebble in her shoe and she bent down to check it as she waited for Liam to come to her.

"Why is this man so slow all of a sudden??" asked Wura to herself as she kept on adjusting her shoe even though nothing was wrong at all.

To tell the truth Liam had started to walk slowly on purpose, he had seen right through Wura and he knew what she was trying to do, so since she wanted to act to haughty he would let her, she could go on herself.

Liam knew that Wura had absolutely nothing in her shoe, they were in her house the entire evening, and even after that they had gone straight to the carriage, so of course there was nowhere she could have gotten something in her show.

"No no, he is purposely doing this now" said Wura as adjusted her show for the twentieth time, she was sure that the guards thought that she was a crazy woman who could not get rid of something in her shoe.

Liam fought the urge to laugh, Wura was just being plain silly right now, it was just too much, she was too stubborn for her own good.

Liam had decided that he had let her make a fool of herself enough now, so he quickened his pace as he walked right past Wura.

Wura almost tripped and fell as she saw Liam finally walk past her, she thought that maybe he was going to stop and at least ask her what was wrong? But no, he just continued walking on his way, and that shocked Wura, and she quickly rose up to walk after him.

She had stopped because she needed him to guide her, and yet her guide was moving as fast as a horse.

"Hey" said Wura as she had to run to catch up to him and she was out of breath.

"Some future husband and Prince you are" said Wura as she followed after him with his back turned towards her.

"You cannot even be chivalrous as to wait for me, or ask me what is was that made me stop walking??" asked Wura.

"Oh??" asked Liam.

"I thought that you were not speaking to me??" asked Liam as he made a sharp turn at the corner and Wura followed after him.

"That is besides the point your highness" said Wura as she could not believe the nerve that this man had for him to ignore her like that.

"If you are half the prince you say that you are, then you would have been kind enough as to wait for me" said Wura.

Liam tried his best not to laugh out loud, it seemed that he had to be rude in order for Wura to forget all her sadness and insult him once again.

"But seeing as you have told my countless times that I am not a decent man, then why should I mind with such nonsense??" asked Liam as he said that with a cheeky smile on his face, he was lucky that Wura was behind him right now, and she could not see his face at all.

"The mere nerve of this man!!" said Wura to herself, how did she get herself stuck with such an insolent man.

"You never cease to prove me wrong time and time again your highness" said Wura as she tried to calm herself down.

"That is because I do not need to" said Liam as he suddenly stopped and turned around and Wura was caught off guard and she almost bumped into him.

"You will soon know the truth" he said as he turned back again and began to work.

"Just what in the heavens does he mean??" asked Wura to herself.

"I already know the truth, and nothing can change that" said Wura as she quickly snapped out of her thoughts and she rushed to catch up with Liam.

"I find it funny that you say you do not want to speak with me, and yet you go and do the exact opposite" said Liam as he laughed.

"And could you be any more unfair your highness" replied Wura curtly.

"I do my best to be fair to everyone" said Liam.

"That is what you think" said Wura.

"Tell me this Lady Diwura, why do you always seem to doubt me??" asked Liam.

"Since we are asking each other questions" said Wura as she did not answer Liam's question and instead she countered it with another question.

"Tell me why you walk so fast?? As if a spider is chasing after you??" asked Wura.

"Walk fast??" asked Liam to himself.

"Do I walk fast??" he asked to himself, he had never noticed, no one had ever mentioned it before, this was just how he walked, and come to think of it, he had never walked with a woman before, he was always with his men, and he believed that they all walked at the same pace.

So it seemed that women walked slower than men??? Well that was a new development for Liam, he would keep that in mind.

"The question you should ask is why you walk so slow" said Liam as he did not answer her question, but he subtly reduced his steps.

"Oh my" said Wura.

"I will have you know your Majesty that I walk as a lady should" said Wura, did he really expect her to take big strides like some sort of human being that had ants in their clothes.

"Is that what they tell you?" asked Liam as he smiled and he took another turn as they walked through the Castle halls to the east wing where Lady Marli had prepared the room that Wura would be staying in.

"To me it looks like you are trying your best not touch the ground with your feet" said Liam as he had realized by now that the only way that he would be able to match up to Wura was to be as impolite to her as she was to him, that way they would match.

"Well excuse me, as the lady that I am, I have been taught to walk with perfect posture and poise" said Wura.

"Well Lady Diwura, I am sorry to tell you that you walk as if you are stepping on lily pads" said Liam as he smiled subtly.

"Please tell me, please tell me, please, how did this end up into a conversation about the way people walk???" asked Wura as she was utterly confused, she always found herself discussing the most bizarre things with this Prince.

As if he was a magic potion that made her immediately become aggressive, and always want to refute him???Was it because he was the first man she had actually had any contact with or was It something else.

"You are quiet now" said Liam as he noticed her silence.

"Yes that is because, I have decided to save my voice for more productive things" said Wura as she replied immediately this time.

"Oh such as what??" asked Liam.

"Well like eating, speaking to relevant people and so on and so forth" said Wura.

"Are you saying that I am not relevant??" asked Liam as he looked very amused, Wura was really something else, she was not even scared of being accused of treason.

"Oh????" asked Wura as she looked very shocked.

"Did I??I never said such your highness, I would not dare" said Wura as she feigned ignorance.

"No because if my hearing serves me correct you did" said Liam.

"Then your highness you need to get your hearing checked" said Wura.

"We are here" said Liam as he stooped walking and he stood at a mighty door that was left unguarded.
