Darling

"You have my full attention" said Liam as he smiled.

"Well…" said Wura as she did not expect him to say such, and the way he looked at her with so much focus made her nervous.

"Hmm" said Liam as he smiled and he waited for her to say what was on her mind.

"*Ahem*" said Wura as she cleared her throat, she found Liam so annoying, when he looked so innocent when he actually was not at all.

"I wanted to speak to you on what happened during breakfast this morning" said Wura as she looked at Liam.

"Well what happened?" asked Liam as he did not understand what she was talking about.

"Because I believe that breakfast went on rather well" he said.

"That is what you think, while that is not the truth at all" said Wura as she shook her head.

"Oh??" asked Liam and Wura nodded her head.

"So please enlighten me on what exactly went wrong Wura?" asked Liam as he was truly curious.

"There you go again" said Wura as she shook her head and she frowned, he did it again, he did what annoyed her once more.

"Hmm??" asked Liam as he could not quite catch on to what she was referring to.

"I genuinely have no idea whatsoever of what it is that you are referring to" said Liam.

"Who allowed you to call me Wura, by my name??" asked Wura as that irritated her, he had called her that in front of everyone during breakfast and now he did it again.

"Oh…" said Liam as he was truly surprised on what she was annoyed about, he truly found it funny that she was annoyed just because he had called her by her name, what else was he supposed to refer to her by?

"Is that all you can say?? Oh??" asked Wura as she was annoyed and Liam laughed, he had thought that maybe she wanted to discuss something very important with her.

"Well what do you want me to say?" asked Liam as he stopped laughing, not a day went by that he did not wonder what exactly went on in that beautiful, little head of hers.

"Well I want you to explain to me why you did such, and also to stop calling me in that manner" said Wura as she shook her head, every time she heard him call her name, she felt very weird, hearing her name come out from his mouth felt very unnatural, and it tugged her whenever she heard him refer to her like that.

"Well what other reason would a man refer to his wife by her name for?" asked Liam as he stared into her eyes, did she forget that they were married or what?? She really was something else at times.

"Oh…" said Wura as she looked away from him, the truth was it still felt strange to her, she did not feel married at all, she still felt like herself, she had even forgotten that they were already married.

"But that is still no excuse, I do not like it when you call me by name" said Wura as she expressed her thoughts quickly.

"When we were courting you said that only your husband would be allowed to call you by name" said Liam.

"And I am sure that I have fulfilled that criteria" said Liam as he smiled.

"Do you forget that we are already married?" asked Liam.

"Well of course not, I can never forget that" said Wura as she looked at him, she could never forget that she actually went ahead and married this man, and she scolded herself for it.

"I just do not like it when you call me Wura" said Wura as she insisted.

"Well alright then" said Liam as he smiled.

"Then what would you rather me call you?" asked Liam.

"Well…I…" said Wura as she did not know what else Liam should have called her by.

"What about dear?" asked Liam as he smiled.

"Or honey, or sweetheart?" asked Liam as he smiled and Wura said nothing.

"Or what about darling" said Liam as he looked into Wura's eyes as he smiled.

"Would you prefer if I called you darling?" he asked with a smile.

"Darling??" asked Wura to herself as her heart skipped a beat as Liam stared into her eyes.

"So what do you say Darling? Do you like it darling?" asked Liam as he noticed that Wura was not saying anything and he smiled at her.

"No, No, no, no" said Wura as she looked away from Liam and she shook her head, as her heart kept on beating faster.

"What is the matter darling? Do you feel alright Darling?" asked Liam as he smiled at her, he was doing it on purpose, he was teasing her, he knew that she felt uncomfortable, and she looked cute when she looked dumfounded and at a loss for words.

"Do not call me darling" said Wura as she shook her head, no one had ever called her darling before, and it made her feel strange.

"Just call me Wura, Wura is fine… compared to all those other names" said Wura as she said the last part to herself, her heart tugged her, it sounded so sweet when he said such.

"Are you sure Darling?" asked Liam once again as he smiled at her innocently.

"Because I prefer to call you darling, darling" said Liam as he smiled at her.

"No darling, just call me Wura" said Wura as she shook her head, he was doing this in purpose was he not?

"Alright then Wura" said Liam as he smiled and Wura scoffed at him, he was such an irritating man to be around, he was purposefully teasing her.

"You do know that you can just call me Liam as well" said Liam as he laughed at her irritated look.

"Well no your highness, I would prefer to call you your highness" said Wura as she smiled in annoyance at him.

"Well alright then" said Liam as he sighed, there was nothing he could do, he could not force her to call him by his name.

"But I am sure that my father, and everyone else would find it rather odd, if you as my wife, refer to me as your highness" said Liam as he smiled at her.

"Well I doubt anyone would notice" said Wura as she shook her head, she did not want to call him by his name, because that would mean that they were close, and they most certainly were not.

"Well you do seem to forget that in the eyes of our family and public, we are so happy and so madly in love" said Liam as he smiled.

"Well is that not far from the truth" said Wura to herself as she sighed.

"So is Sir Mero going on a journey?" asked Wura as she changed the subject, she did not want to talk about this anymore.

"Well yes he is" said Liam as he did not insist anymore.

"He is going to the east for a few days" said Liam.

"And why is that… if I may ask?" asked Wura as she noticed that she was being too forward, she was in no place to demand of such information from him.

"Well of course you may" said Liam as he smiled at her.

"He is going on an official task to the east" said Liam.

"My father sent him there to try and make some sort of truce with the east, seeing as they are trying to rebel" said Liam as he explained.

"Ahh I see" said Wura.

"Yes, and I would have preferred to be the one to go, but my father refused" said Liam.

"And why did he refuse?" asked Wura.

"Well because of you" said Liam.

"Because of me??" asked Wura as she was surprised and Liam nodded his head.

"Well why because of me??" asked Wura as she did not understand and Liam smiled at her.

"Well because he would rather me spend time with my newly wedded wife, than going around the kingdom on an official duty" said Liam as he smiled.

"*Sigh*" said Wura as she sighed.

"I would have preferred that would have gone instead, so that way I would have had some peace" said Wura as she shook her head.

"You really do not want me near you at all do you?" asked Liam as he smiled.

"Well not exactly your highness" said Wura.

"I would just prefer that we would live our lives separately" said Wura as she smiled.

"Well I am sorry to say that your preference would not be granted" said Liam as he smiled.

"My father is bent on us being together, even if it means him locking us up in the same room forever" said Liam as he laughed.

"His Majesty would never do that" said Wura in shock.

"Oh trust me Wura, he would if he had to, he really did want me to get married, and now that I am, he will not allow me to carry out any official duty at all" said Liam as he laughed.

"Then what would he rather you do?" asked Wura curiously.

"Well…" said Liam as he looked at Wura and he moved his head to the side.

"Well what??" asked Wura as she waited for his answer.

"He would rather me spend more time with you" said Liam as he smiled, that was part of it, he did not want to tell Wura the other reason, because he was afraid that he might scare her away.
