Hopefully

"So…" said Wura as the atmosphere in the dining room went awfully quiet, there was nothing else for them to speak about, and it was very weird for the both of them to just be here… all alone, it made Wura feel uneasy.

"So what?" asked Liam as he looked at Wura and he smiled, he had noticed that an habit of hers to start up a conversation was that she said "So…" which would warrant him to ask her what was on her mind.

He found that winsome when she behaved in such a manner, it showed that she was strong willed, and yet so gentle and delicate.

"*Ahem*" said Wura as she cleared her throat even though there was nothing there at all.

"So has Sir Mero journeyed to the east?" asked Wura as that was the only thing she could think of to talk about now, because if not, the both of them would have just ate in silence, and Wura found that even more boring and awkward.

"Ahh…" said Liam, Mero was truly an interesting topic to discuss on.

"Well yes, he left late yesterday evening" said Liam as he ate his food and he looked at Wura.

"Oh, I see" said Wura.

"And when will he return?" asked Wura.

"Well in about seven days, if all goes well" said Liam.

"And I hope it does" said Wura, she did not know why Mero had to go to the east, but from the little she had heard, it would seem that it was a very delicate and important matter.

"Hopefully it will" said Liam as he smiled and Wura smiled at him.

"I do not think that you uncle likes me at all" said Liam as he smiled, he had noticed that Richard was a bit hostile to him, and he did not seem to hide it at all.

"Hahha" said Wura as she started laughing.

"What is so funny??" asked Liam as he liked the sound of Wura's laughter.

"Well your highness, my uncle does not seem to like anyone, but trust me, he has a good heart" said Wura as she stopped laughing and she smiled, her Uncle could be as cold as winter, but his heart was as warm as a fire.

Even though it did not seem like it, he always had your best interest at heart, he was a very thoughtful person, who always thought of what his decisions would bring others into, and most of all he was a very wise man, Wura had grown up listening to all his teachings, he had always wanted her to be very wise, and she hoped that she had exceeded his expectations.

"You really seem to like your uncle" said Liam as he smiled at her, he could see the adoration she had for him in her eyes.

"Well of course I do your highness, he is my only Uncle, and I love him very much" said Wura as she smiled.

"Hmm" said Liam as he smiled.

"Your highness, do you not have an Uncle?" asked Wura.

"Well yes… I do have an Uncle, but only one" said Liam.

"He lives in the south" said Liam.

"Ahh, I see" said Wura as she ate her dinner before it became cold.

"I heard that you and Lady Marli met earlier in the day" said Liam.

"You heard from who?" asked Wura with a raised eyebrow, why did news always travel so fast around the Castle?

"Well news does travel quick in the Castle does it not?" asked Liam as he smiled, he could tell that Wura was annoyed.

"Hmmm" said Wura.

"If I did not know any better, I would think that you had sent people to follow me and watch my every move" said Wura as she smiled in annoyance.

"Well I am not the type of man who is so idle to watch over the every move of a woman" said Liam as he smiled back at her, it was one of the guards that had informed him, he was not even aware of the fact that she had met Lady Marli.

"There are many maids and guards in this Castle, who unfortunately feel the need to always report back to me on everything that goes on in the Castle" said Liam as he smiled and he explained.

"Regardless of that or not, next time your approach should be better" said Wura as she shook her head, she did realize that he was the Prince and that everyone did report to him, but she was not going to just swallow her pride and apologize for her being rude with him.

"Oh is that so?" asked Liam with a smile and Wura nodded her head.

"In what way should my approach be better?" asked Liam with a smile, he wanted to see what she would come up with next.

"Well your highness, next time you should begin by asking me how my day was, and then from there, you can ask anything else of me" said Wura as she nodded her head.

"Oh well alright" said Liam.

"I will keep that in mind Wura" said Liam as he smiled.

"Hmm" said Wura as she scoffed at him, she hated hearing her name come out of his mouth.

"So what did you and Lady Marli discuss?" asked Liam.

"Well nothing too important, we just spoke and had some rose and hawthorn tea" said Wura as she ate her food.

"Rose and hawthorn tea is Lady Marli's favourite blend" said Liam.

"Yes, I am aware of that, and I had never tasted the blend before" said Wura.

"What did you think of it?" asked Liam.

"Well it was a bit too strong for my liking, although it does smell delightful" said Wura as she smiled.

"Hmm I see" said Liam as he seemed to be thinking.

"And what is your favourite blend of tea?" asked Liam.

"I do not have one your Highness, I really am not a tea lover" said Wura as she laughed.

"And what about you your highness, what is your favourite blend of tea?" asked Wura as she was curious, she knew nothing at all about this man.

She did not know his likes and dislikes, his hobbies and his loves, all she knew was that he was annoying, and he was now her husband.

"Well same as you, I am not a tea person" said Liam as he smiled.

"I guess that we share that we both do not like tea" said Wura as she laughed.

"I guess that we do" said Liam as he smiled.

"Your highnesses, I am very sorry to disturb you both" came the voice of a guard as he ran into the dining room and he bowed himself down to the ground.

"There is no problem, please rise" said Liam as he turned to look at the guard.

"Thank you your highness" said the guard as he stood up, while Wura was wondering what was going on.

"What is the matter?" asked Liam as he looked at the guard and he seemed very worried.

"Well your highness, it is his Majesty, he is trying to escape from his room" said the guard.

"We are unable to stop him, so I quickly rushed her to inform you" said the guard.

"*Sigh*" said Liam as he sighed and he shook his head, he had never tried to escape from the Castle before as a child, and yet here was his grown father trying to escape.

"Alright, thank you for informing me, you may go, I will be there soon" said Liam as he looked at the guard.

"Yes your highness" said the guard as he bowed once again and he left the dining room.

"Ha" said Wura as she was not able to hold back her laughter and Liam turned to look at her.

"I am sorry, for laughing but… this is just too silly" said Wura as she laughed and Liam had no choice than to laugh as well, Wura was right, his grown father, the King of Wyverdale was trying to sneak out of his room and outsmart his son, what a father he had.

"My father can be unbelievable at times" said Liam as he laughed.

"Oh I can see that your highness" said Wura as she laughed.

"Well, I am sorry, but I must be going now" said Liam as he drank his water and he stood up.

"Alright then" said Wura as she smiled.

"I really do apologize for dinner being interrupted like this, but my father will never listen" said Liam as he sighed and he shook his head.

"Well you can really do nothing much, he is your father after all" said Wura as she laughed, and Liam smiled at her.

"Well you are right about that" said Liam as he smiled.

"Goodnight Wura" said Liam as he smiled at her brightly.

"Goodnight your highness" said Wura as she smiled at him and he left the dining room with swift steps.

"I better leave as well" said Wura as she stood up and she laughed.
