Since when

"Duke and Duchess Cornwalk have arrived at the Castle" said the maid as she was in the kitchen and she spoke to the other maids.

"This early In the morning?" asked the other maid as she looked surprise.

"I was also as surprised as you were, but it would seem that they were eager to see his highness and the princess" said the maid.

"I do not blame them at all" said the other maid as she smiled.

"The Prince rarely comes to Cornwalk, he has not been here in years, and now he finally came to Cornwalk, and with his wife the princess as well" said the maid as she smiled.

"And the princess is truly a lovely lady, she is so nice and sweet" said the maid as she smiled.

"I must agree with you on that, the princess is rather kind and lovely" said the maid as she smiled.

"And she is truly very beautiful" said the maid as she smiled.

"I am sure that they will produce beautiful kin" said the maid as she smiled, a royal baby was just what the Kingdom needed to be joyous once again, they would have another heir to the throne, another generation that would grow up in peace and unity.

"I am so happy that their highnesses are here" said the other maid as she dried her hands with a cloth.

"We are usually always the only ones here, and it is often lonely" said the maid.

"But at least we do get paid to take care of the Castle to our best capabilities" said the maid as she smiled.

"It would seem that Duke and Duchess Cornwalk are having a good time with their highnesses" came the voice of another maid as she walked into the kitchen.

"His Majesty trusts in Duke and Duchess Cornwalk greatly, so it would only be good that they have a good time with their highnesses" said the maid as she smiled.

"Enough idle talk, there are still many duties to be carried out, go clean the room of the princess" said the maid that walked into the room.

"Oh well alright" said the other maids as they sighed and they all walked away to do their duties that could not be left undone.

"My prince, I was thinking that it would be a good idea if you started your tour of Cornwalk with the Church" said Duke Cornwalk as he smiled.

"Oh that would be alright, I would prefer that news of our arrival be kept quiet" said Liam as he smiled.

"We are here to perform our royal duties and relax as well" said Liam as he smiled, he knew how the Kingdom was, if word got out that he and Wura were here, the people would immediately gather themselves to give them gifts, and they would end up doing more work than relaxing.

"Oh course your highness, we understand, we will make sure to do so" said Duchess Cornwalk as she smiled and Liam smiled at her.

"Your highness, would you prefer it if we started the tour of Cornwalk now, or later in the day?" asked Duchess Cornwalk, as for her, she had nothing else to do, so her entire day was free, and so was that of her husband.

"I would like it if we began the tour after breakfast" said Liam as he smiled, one of their royal duties was to see how things were faring in the area, to see what the Kingdom could do to better the living conditions of their people.

"That would be best your highness" said Duchess Cornwalk as she smiled.

"Darling, what about you? When would you like to begin the tour?" asked Liam as he turned to look at Wura who was sipping her tea.

"Darling??" asked Wura in shock as she almost choked on the tea she was drinking, why was he calling her darling all of a sudden?? He never called her darling before, so where did this sudden change of words come from??

"Yes Darling, what would you like to do?" asked Liam as he smiled.

"Ah…" said Wura as she quickly caught hold of herself as she realized that she must have looked very stupid right now.

"Well I would have to agree with you" said Wura as she smiled and she continued to sip her tea.

"Alright then, it is settled, we shall leave after breakfast" said Liam as he smiled and Duke and Duchess Cornwalk smiled while Wura kept on thinking on why Liam had called her darling.

After breakfast, Wuraa quickly put on her coat, as she and Liam followed after Duke and Duchess Cornwalk as they entered into both their separate carriages, Duke and Duchess Cornwalk's carriage was in front of Liam and Wura's.

"Since when did you call me darling?" asked Wura as she turned to look at Liam who was sitting right across her in the carriage as the carriage began to move.

"I always call you darling" said Liam as he smiled.

"You lie your highness, you have never called me darling before" said Wura as she shook her head and Liam laughed, how was she so sure??

"I beg to differ darling, I have called you darling before" said Liam as he laughed.

"Alright sure, fine your highness, you have called me darling before, but we agreed that you would not, so imagine my surprise when you suddenly call me darling??" said Wura as she expressed her discomfort, she was not comfortable with Liam calling her darling, it sounded too close and sweet when he said it, as if they were true lovers.

"Well you are my wife after all, and I would like to call you darling sometimes" said Liam as he smiled, he had still noticed that Wura still did not call him by his name, she would always refer to him as your highness, and he did not know why that irritated him?? Did he want her to call him by his name??

"Sure your highness that may be true, but you and I are not the slightest bit close, and you are fully aware of that" said Wura as she smiled at him in politeness.

"Hmm" said Liam, he noticed that Wura was putting a distance between them, she was distancing herself from him, and he was sure that it was because she did not want to get hurt, and he could not blame her, he himself was no saint, in fact no one was, and that was why they were human beings.

"Then why do you smile at me?" asked Liam as he laughed.

"Well your highness, you are once again mistaken" said Wura as she smiled.

"This is a smile of politeness and nothing more" said Wura and she pointed to her lips that were curled up in a smile.

"So you only stay with me out of politeness?" asked Liam as he smiled.

"No, not only that your highness, but out of many things" said Wura as she sighed.

"Which are?" asked Liam as he smiled.

"Your highness, I have a question" said Wura as she changed the subject of their conversation, Liam was once again going too far with his questions, and Wura was not sure if she would be able to keep up with his question.

"Go on" said Liam as he smiled.

"What exactly are the royal duties that we must fulfil here?" asked Wura as she still did not understand it.

"Ahh well, we are basically going to go around Cornwalk, and see how things have been faring here, whether good or bad, we will report to my father" said Liam as he smiled.

"We will give food to the poor, and clothes to the needy and less privilege, as our Kingdom is built on giving" said Liam as he smiled.

"Ahh, I see now" said Wura as she seemed to understand, now things made so much more sense, and to tell the truth, she was relieved that she did not have to do anything tedious or offical, less she embarrass herself.

"Yes" said Liam as he smiled, he liked that Wura was able to admit when she did not understand something, it spoke well of her, she was not afraid to ask for help when she needed it, and

"Duke and Duchess Cornwalk seem to like you" said Liam as he smiled.

"Well I have known them since I was a little girl, and they are very nice people" said Wura as she smiled.

"I see, and you know Esmond well?" asked Liam, he did not know why he was asking about Esmond Cornwalk, maybe it was because Wura had mentioned him earlier, as if they were very close.

"Yes, I do, we are acquainted well with each other" said Wura as she smiled.

"I see" said Liam as he seemed to be deep in his thoughts.

"Mhmm" said Wura as she wondered why he was asking so many questions all of a sudden, but she just shrugged off her thoughts.
