Giving

"For you my prince" came the voice of a man as he brought a gift for Liam.

"Thank you" said Liam as he smiled and one of the guards collected the gift as he placed it on a wagon along with the others.

"How are you doing?" asked Liam as he whispered in Wura's ear as she collected a gift from an elderly woman as she smiled.

"Well I am doing good your highness… everyone is just so nice" said Wura as she smiled and she turned to look at Liam, the people were happy, and she was happy as well, she always knew that the people of the Kingdom loved their King and Prince, but she did not know that they truly had respect and adoration for them, it was just so lovely that Wura could not help but smile.

She never knew that the people did things such as these, well because before she was never interested in such, and seeing as she was the daughter of a duke, her family often met with the King, or at least her father did, so she had never had to be part of something as wonderful as this.

And the best thing was that Liam seemed to be truly enjoying himself, the joy in his eyes was unmissable, it was clear that he loved all of this, he really did, and because he loved it, Wura loved it as well, he had that kind of effect on her, for her to see his true love and appreciation for his people.

"I am glad that you are good" said Liam as he smiled and he thanked yet another person.

Wyverdale was a Kingdom of giving, which was why as the people gave him their gifts and left, the guards would give them something as well, some foodstuffs because in the end, what were they if they did not care for one another?

"You really enjoy this your highness" said Wura as she smiled at him as she helped an elderly woman on her way.

"Well when I was younger, my father and I used to give gifts to the people, even though he was the King, he would make sure to greet every single person that had come to see him" said Liam as he smiled.

"To tell the truth, those were one of my best memories, it was then that I realized just what type of man my father is, he is a kind man, a wonderful man, he loves to make people happy, and he used laugh a lot… and he still does" said Liam as he laughed and Wura laughed, she loved it when he talked about his father.

"I can see why, the people make who you are as the Royal family.., without them… you would ne nothing in the end" said Wura as she smiled, now she knew that the saying power belongs to the people was very true.

"But you are very natural in this" said Liam as he smiled.

"I know some maidens would find it hard to adapt, but not you" said Liam as he looked at Wura and he smiled at her.

"You are always so lovely and easy to be around" said Liam as he smiled and Wura looked away.

"Thank you… your highness" said Wura as she did not know what else to say… she felt stupid for thanking him, what exactly was she thanking him for??

"You are welcome" said Liam as he smiled at Wura as she did not look at him.

"My prince, my princess" came the voice of a woman as she called out to Liam and Wura as they both turned to look at the woman.

"The children would like to gift the princess with something" said the woman as she smiled.

"My princess, would you be so kind as to grant them an audience?" asked the woman as she smiled.

Wura turned to look at Liam, as if asking for his approval, after all he was the person who was well used to this, and she did not know what to do, and Liam smiled as he nodded her head, she should go, he was sure that she would be fine.

"Ahhh.. alright then, I will" said Wura as she turned to look at the woman and she smiled at her.

"Oh thank you my princess, please come right this way" said the woman as she smiled and Liam helped Wura down as she smiled at him and he followed behind her as she followed after the woman, and she was lead to where many children were standing as they were speaking amongst themselves.

"Children, look who came to greet you all" said the woman as she smiled and she stepped back as s the children turned to look at them and some of them gasped, while some of them looked in awe.

"You are very pretty my princess" came the voice of a little girl as everyone turned to look at her, and Wura smiled.

"Why thank you, you are very pretty as well, I like your hair" said Wura as she smiled.

"Thank you my princess" said the little girl as she smiled in happiness, she had just been complimented by the Princess, and everyone had heard that.

"The Princess is so nice" said the children as they murmured amongst themselves and Wura smiled, they were all just so cute and innocent.

"Children, do you not have something to gift the princess??" asked the woman as she cleared her throat.

"Ahh…yes" said the children as they looked at each other and they whispered to each other as Wura just smiled, they were all lovely children, it would seem that they were having a discussion amongst themselves, and they finally managed to get their bearings as they sent forth a young dark haired boy with brown eyes, as he hid his hands behind his back and the children watched what would happen.

"Good Morrow my princess" said the boy as he looked down at the ground, he seemed very nervous.

"Well Good Morrow" said Wura as she smiled, she found his nervousness cute, she did not consider herself someone to be feared.

"What is your name?" asked Wura as she smiled.

"My name is Andrew my princess" said replied the little boy as he still looked down at the snow as Liam smiled.

"Well then Andrew, I would love it if you looked at me directly" said Wura as she smiled and as if on command the boy looked at her.

"That is better" said Wura as she smiled and the boy looked away as the princess was very pretty, like an angel.

"Do you have something for me Andrew?" asked Wura as she smiled and Andrew nodded his head.

"I would love to see it" said Wura as she smiled as she noticed that Andrew was very shy.

"My princess, it is a flower crown, we all made it for you" said Andrew as he stopped hiding his hands behind his back, and he showed Wura a very beautiful flower crown, that had many bright coloured flowers on it.

"Oh thank you, it looks very pretty, thank you all" said Wura as she smiled and the children smiled at her.

"Would you put it on my head?" asked Wura as she smiled at Andrew.

"Yes my princess" said Andrew as he smiled and Wura bent down as Andrew carefully placed the flower crown on Wura's head.

"How do I look?" asked Wura as she smiled and she turned to look at Liam.

"Very beautiful" said Liam as he smiled and Wura smiled at him.

"Very, very beautiful my princess" said the children as they smiled and Wura smiled at them, they were all just darlings.

"Thank you all" said Wura as she smiled and the children smiled at her, and in that same moment, she suddenly got hit in the head by a snowball.

"*Gasp*" said the children as they all gasped in shock, who would dare throw a snowball at the Princess??

Cold, that was the word that could explain how Wura felt right now, she did not even see it coming, she even had some pieces of snow stuck in her hair, she quickly wiped her face with her hands as she turned to find who had thrown a snowball at her.

"Who threw that?" asked Wura as she looked at the children.

"We do not know my princess" said Andrew as he was very confused the snowball came from nowhere, no one saw where is came from at all.

"Well whoever threw that shou…" said Wura as she was hit in the head once again with another snowball, and this time the children giggled as they turned to look at one another with laughter.

"Now who threw that one??" asked Wura as she was getting annoyed and the children immediately turned and pointed at a certain, cheeky, little childish Prince as he smiled happily, with no remorse at all.
