Accompany you

"Nora, do you have any news?" asked Wura as she looked at Nora as Nora entered her room after she had cleared the table and she went to the kitchen to wash the dirty dishes.

"No my Queen… I have heard nothing" said Nora sadly.

"Oh… I see" said Wura as she felt sad, even though she knew that she was not supposed to be.

"I understand, I mean, his Majesty is a very busy man" said Wura as she forced a smile, she should have known that Liam would not read her letter soon, as Mero had said he had been very busy, maybe he did not have time to read her letter, or maybe he discarded it , or maybe it got lost and he did not see it.

"Yes my Queen, maybe he has not read your letter yet" said Nora.

"Hmm… maybe" said Wura, she did not know why she wanted him to read her letter so much?? Was it because she was truly worried for him or was it something else?? Well she did not know at she; she was just so very confused when it came to Liam.

"My Queen, I do not think you should worry so much it is not good for your health, I am sure his Majesty will read your letter soon" said Nora as she smiled, she was trying to ease Wura's worry.

"Do I look worried Nora?" asked Wura as she looked at Nora. Was she really looking worried right now, just what was she getting worried for?? It was not like she would die if he did not read her letter, then why was she worried.

Nora did not say anything as she only nodded her head.

"Oh well Nora, there is no need to worry, I am alright, I am not worried, there is nothing for me to be worried about" said Wura as she smiled to show Nora that she was not worried at all and that she was fine, but Nora did not seem to believe her at all.

"You do not believe me do you?" asked Wura as Nora nodded her head.

"*Sigh*, Maybe you are right Nora, maybe I am worried, even when I am not supposed to be, I need to get my mind off this matter" said Wura as she sighed, she did not know why she was behaving like this at all.

"My Queen, what do you usually do to relax yourself?" asked Nora as she could sense that Wura was stressed, and she was stressed about Liam.

"Well I paint" said Wura.

"My Queen, shall I prepare your paints for you then?" asked Nora as she smiled.

"Oh alright then Nora" said Wura as she sighed, she did not feel like herself at all, all she could think about was how she was being selfish, and accusing him for avoiding her, while she never even stopped to think if he was feeling alright at all, it made her feel guilty, all she cared about was herself, and how she felt and not the way he felt at all.

"My Queen, would you like to start a new painting or continue with an old one?" asked Nora as she smiled and she dipped Wura's paintbrushes into a little bowl of water to ease them up first.

"I do not want to start a new one" said Wura as she just sat there on her bed while Nora prepared everything, Nora was determined to make her feel better.

"My Queen, which painting would you like to continue?" asked Nora as she smiled and she flipped through the pages of the canvas Wura had been working on, she had started with some new drawings.

"Would you like me to continue with your portrait Nora?" asked Wura.

"Anything you ask of me my Queen, I shall do" said Nora as she smiled and she nodded her head.

"Alright then" said Wura as she smiled and Nora smiled as she handed Wura her canvas.

"Where would you like me to sit my Queen?" asked Nora as she smiled.

"Just sit over here, and I will sit over there" said Wura as she smiled, painting could get very messy, so she would sit on her new dining table.

"Alright my Queen" said Nora as she smiled and she nodded her head.

"Thank you Nora" said Wura as she smiled.

"What are you thanking me for my Queen?" asked Nora as she did not know what Wura was thanking her for.

"Thank you for cheering me up, and thank you for caring for me" said Wura as she smiled.

"Please do not thank me for that my Queen, you have been more than nice and gracious to me" said Nora as she smiled and Wura smiled at her, she did not know what she would have done without Nora always being there, constantly by her side.

The next morning.

"My Queen, Lady Marli has asked for you to come and see her" said Nora as she looked at Wura.

"She apologizes for not being the one to come over and speak with you, but she still has some pending matters on hand that she must see too first" said Nora as she explained.

"Oh well that is alright Nora" said Wura.

"When does she want me to see her?" asked Wura.

"Right at this moment if possible my Queen" said Nora.

"Well I have nothing doing here, so I will just go and see her now" said Wura as she smiled, at least now she could go out of her room, she had not done so in a while now.

"My Queen, at this moment she would be in the great hall" said Nora.

"What happens in the great hall?" asked Wura as this was the first time she had heard of this great hall.

"My Queen, the Great hall is where the people come and seek an audience with the King to solve their matters" said Nora.

"In the past, every fifth day of the week, his Late Majesty would sit in the great hall on his throne, and the people would enter one by one to ask him to settle their matters, but his Majesty was unable to keep on, and so Lady Marli took over, and she referred the very important matters to the King himself" said Nora as she explained.

"Ah… I understand now" said Wura, the longer she stayed in the Castle, the more that she realized that being Royalty did not only mean you go to live lavishly, but there were so many responsibilities that came along with it.

"So if I go now, will I not disturb Lady Marli?" asked Wura.

"Well no my Queen, Lady Marli does not begin to settle the matters until noon" said Nora.

"Alright I see" said Wura.

"Well then, let me not keep her waiting" said Wura as she smiled and she stood up from her bed.

"My Queen, shall I accompany you?" asked Nora.

"Well no Nora, there is no need for you too, did you not say that you wanted to clean my room?" asked Wura.

"Yes I do my Queen, but I can still accompany you" said Nora.

"No Nora, that is alright, I can go on my own" said Wura as she smiled.

"As you wish my Queen" said Nora.

"Where is the great hall?" asked Wura.

"Ahh well my Queen, it is located right beside the ballroom" said Nora.

"Alright Nora, I will see you soon" said Wura as she smiled.

"See you soon my Queen" said Nora as she smiled and Wura walked out of her room.

Wura was walking through the halls, with the guards bowing down at her as she passed, she was not used to that, so she always told them that, that was not necessary, but they refused, and they continued to bow down for her, which made her feel uncomfortable, but finally she reached the ballroom, and she continued North to find the Great Hall.

It was then that she realized that the Castle was much more bigger than she knew, she had only been to a few places, Wura stop in front of two large wooden doors, she was sure that this had to be the place, because there was nowhere else in sight for her to turn to.

Wura was about to open the doors, when shouting from the room behind the door startled her, it sounded like a voice of a woman, as she cursed and insulted someone who seemed to be a man.

Wura was startled, just what on earth was going on in there?? The woman was shouting very loudly as the voice of another woman tried to calm her down.

Wura wondered who would be shouting like this, was not Lady Marli supposed to be here?

Wura decided to open the door as she walked into a large room, and in that large room, there was a middle aged woman, and a young woman, who looked no older then twenty years old, and across that woman, there was a man that Wura knew all too well, even though she did not like him at all.

"Just what is going on here?" asked Wura as they all turned to look at her, and the middle aged woman stopped shouting as she looked at Wura.

"Ahh my Queen" said the woman as she bowed down immediately, and she urged the other woman beside her, who appeared to be her daughter to bow down as well, which she did.

"Oh this Is just great" said Elihu to himself as he sighed, just what was this woman doing here at this time??

"Greetings my Queen" said the woman.

"Greetings my Queen" said the daughter as she followed after her mother.

"Greetings, please rise" said Wura as she was still as confused as ever, she had never seen these two woman before, and it was clear that they were not part of the Castle staff, Wura deduced that they were probably just people from the Kingdom.

"Thank you my Queen" said the woman as she stood up.

"Thank you my Queen" said the daughter as well.

"What was all the shouting about?" asked Wura, the Castle was usually a very quiet place, but not now with this woman shouting.

"My Queen, please forgive me for my shouting but…" said the woman.

"But this has to be done" said the woman.

"This man… this insolent, stupid, irresponsible, womanizer…" said the woman angrily as she pointed at Elihu and she threw insults at him.

"This shameless, slippery snake, this sorry excuse for a human being slept with my daughter, impregnated her, and now she is with child out of wedlock!" said the woman angrily as she felt like punching Elihu's face and he moved back.

"For the last time Madam, I am not the one responsible for the child" said Elihu as he was defensive.

"LIAR!" said the woman as she snapped at Elihu.

"YOU ARE A DIRTY LIAR!" said the woman as she snapped at Elihu as Elihu looked hopeless, he did not know what else to say.

"Madam, I am not the Father of the child your daughter is carrying, tell your mother that" said Elihu as he looked at the daughter as she avoided his gaze as she looked at the ground.

"Are you calling my daughter a liar?" asked the woman angrily.

"YOU STUPID MAN, YOU IMPREGNATED MY DAUGHTER AND YOU REFUSE TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY!" said the woman angrily.

"You are going to marry my daughter, and if you refuse to marry her, I will kill you myself" said the woman as she held Elihu by his shirt as he was stuck in her hold.

Wura was shocked… no more than that, she was confused, just what sort of play was unravelling in front of her eyes.

Wura looked at the daughter, as the daughter looked away, and then she looked at Elihu, the look of hopelessness and confusion on his face told Wura that he truly was not the Father of the unborn child, he was telling the truth.

"Madam, please calm down" said Wura as she looked at the woman.

"No my Queen, no, how can I calm down?? Please put yourself in my shoes, this man defiled my daughter, she is now carrying his child, and he refuses to admit to his mistake, how would you feel my Queen?" asked the woman.

"Madam, I do understand you, I understand your anger, but we cannot solve things like this, we need to calm down first and speak like the adults we all are" said Wura as the woman heaved and she let go of Elihu.

"Fine… only because you are the one who asked me to do so my Queen, and I cannot disrespect you" said the woman.

"Thank you" said Wura as she smiled at the woman, she did not know how she was going to handle this at all.

"Madam, do you know who this man is?" asked Wura as she decided to start with that first.

"Yes, he is a knight" replied the woman.

"But he is a disgrace to knighthood, he is supposed to take care and save women, and not resort to sleeping with them like a dog, his knighthood is only in name and not something of the heart!" said the woman sharply and even Elihu was ashamed of himself now.

"You may be right Madam" said Wura as she agreed with everything the woman had said, but they were not talking about that now.

"But I know this man" said Wura.

"And believe me when I say that he is not the Father of the unborn child your daughter is expecting" said Wura in sincerity.
