Sort of child

"Good Evening Uncle Nigel" said Wura as she smiled and she walked into the dining room.

"Good evening Wura" said Nigel as he smiled and Wura sat down at her usual spot on the dining table.

"How was your morning stroll with Liam?" asked Nigel as neither one of them had breakfast with him in the morning, he was informed that the King and his wife had gone for an early morning stroll.

"Ahh it was good Uncle" said Wura as she smiled.

"I am glad that it was" said Uncle Nigel as he smiled, he loved that he was here, with his family, it made him happy to see the young ones starting up their lives, and on a good note that was.

"Uncle how was your day?" asked Wura as she smiled.

"I heard that you went out for a meeting with the Dukes" said Wura as she smiled and she took a sip of her wine as they both waited for Liam.

"Ahh yes I did, and it was good, everything was fine" said Nigel as he smiled.

"I am glad that everything was fine" said Wura with a smile as she took a sip of her wine.

"Good Evening Uncle" said Liam as he walked into the dining room with a smile.

"Ahh good evening Liam" said Nigel as he looked at Liam and he smiled.

"Good Evening Wura" said Liam as he smiled and he gave Wura a quick kiss on her cheek before he moved to sit down.

Wura almost spit out the wine that she was drinking as she quickly looked at Liam, just what was that??? What did he think that he was doing? Who gave him permission to kiss her? Even if it was on the cheek.

Out of respect for Nigel being here with them, Wura just glared at Liam as she placed her wine glass on the table.

Liam just shot her a clueless smile as she felt like hitting him right now, just who did he think he was to kiss her cheek without her permission, they did not discuss this, not at all, so then why did he do it?

Nigel just chuckled at the behaviour of the two newlyweds before him as he was sure that they had some sort of light bickering between husband and wife, he found it cute.

"Shall we eat now Uncle?" asked Liam as he cleared his throat and he smiled as he acted like he did not see Wura glaring at him at all.

"Yes, let us" said Nigel as he smiled and Liam smiled as they started to eat while Wura faced her food, she was so angry right now, she wanted to hit Liam.

"So Uncle, I heard that you had a meeting with the Dukes today" said Liam as he took a sip of his wine.

"How was it?" asked Liam.

"Well it was very good Liam" said Nigel as he replied.

"We discussed how they will carry out their duties seeing as Spring is well underway, and as well as the different changes that they will form in their jurisdiction" said Nigel.

"That is good Uncle" said Liam as he smiled and Nigel continued on talking as he gave Liam a summary of what had been discussed in their meeting.

Wura was angry, very angry, she had to get back at Liam, she knew that she had to, and then she had an idea, while Liam and Nigel were talking, Wura subtly slipped her right hand under the table as she did not stop there.

She moved her hand right next to Liam seat, and without wasting a second at all, once she was sure of her position, she braced herself as she gave Liam a mighty pinch on his thigh as she looked at him, trying to see his reaction.

"Yes Uncle you are…" said Liam as he felt a pinch on his thigh and his eye twitched as he turned to look at Wura as she looked back at him, while not backing down.

Liam found this unbelievable, just what sort of child was she to resort to pinching him on his thigh? He had done nothing wrong.

Wura shot Liam a look that read "You think that you are the only one that can be annoying" and she smiled at him.

"Is something the matter Liam?" asked Nigel as Liam turned to look at him and Wura so innocently sipped her wine, as if she was doing nothing wrong at all.

"Ahh.. well no Uncle, nothing is the matter" said Liam as he smiled and he gestured that Nigel go on with his explanation.

"Alright then" said Nigel as he continued on and Liam nodded his head lightly as he followed along.

Wura decided that giving him another pinch would do him no harm, so she did and she closely watched Liam's reaction as she saw his eyebrow twitch as he kept a straight face, Wura had to hand it to him, he was really strong for pretending like nothing was happening at all, maybe she should pinch him harder.

Liam looked at Wura as he knew that she could not be serious right now, did she just like pinching people or what? He did not know what to do to make her stop, because it was clear that she was not going to.

"I see Uncle, I am sure that everything will be already arranged when the time comes" said Liam as he turned to look at Nigel.

"Yes, Liam I am sure that it will" said Nigel as he smiled.

"Oh which reminds me, I completely forgot, I am expecting an important letter from home, please excuse me, you can continue on" said Nigel as he smiled and he stood up as Wura smiled at him and he smiled at her as he walked out of the dining room.

"Just what are you doing?" asked Liam as the smile on his face disappeared and he removed Wura's hand from his thigh.

"Why did you kiss me?" asked Wura as she glared back at him.

"You cannot be serious Wura, you are pinching me like that just over a simple kiss on the cheek?" asked Liam as he wondered how her logic worked, he was concerned, but what made him even more annoyed was the fact that she had the confidence to pinch him on such part of his body, and yet if he dare touch her at all, she would get defensive.

"It was not just a simple kiss, you did not discuss doing that with me, you are so annoying, how can you just decide to kiss me like that" said Wura as now they were arguing.

"Well if I had known that you were going to act like this over a simple kiss on the cheek, then I should have just kissed you on the mouth then" said Liam as either way, he knew that she would get upset with him, so why could he just not go all out in the first place.

"You are horrible, you cannot be serious, I don't want you to kiss me not at all" said Wura as she did not know what sort of nonsense this man before her was saying.

"You are my wife after all, it is not a trespass to kiss you" said Liam.

"No, no, you need my permission to do that" said Wura.

"If you are going to pinch me anyway, I might as well make just do the worst" said Liam as he smiled, she just annoyed him so much.

"No, do not even try it, if you dare kiss me, I will pour my wine all over you" said Wura as she quickly picked up her almost empty glass of wine as she pointed it towards Liam.

"You would not dare" said Liam.

"Oh try me Liam, try me, I will" said Wura as she was not backing down at all.

"That can be seen as an assault attempt against the King" said Liam.

"Well I am your wife the Queen, so I doubt that any case would be tendered" said Wura as she gave a smug smile and Liam scoffed as he was amused, she only acknowledged that she was his wife when it was convenient for her, she was just so shameless and stubborn, he did not know if it was a bad thing that he liked that about her.

"What are we doing Wura?" asked Liam as he sighed and he shook his head.

"You tell me Liam" said Wura as she narrowed her eyes at him and Liam started to laugh as Wura was caught by surprise, but she did not let her guard down, not at all, this man was sneaky very sneaky.

"I am sorry for kissing you without your permission Wura" said Liam as he stopped laughing and he looked at her, he did not know why he even did it in the first place, he just felt like doing it out of an impulse.

"I do not believe your apology, you cannot be trusted, whose to say that you will not just try this same thing again?" asked Wura as she did not trust him at all.

"I assure you Wura, I will not try to kiss you again, or at least not without your permission" said Liam.

"I will not kiss you, unless you want me to" said Liam as he did not even know what he was saying at this point, when did he become like this, so shameless.

"Hmm, alright I believe you, and believe me, I will never want you to kiss me" said Wura as she put down her wine glass back on the table, it had served its purpose as her defence weapon.

"Hmm" said Liam as he wondered if he was that repulsive to her or what, but he just realized that he had been too forward, and he might have ended up driving Wura away rather than closer to him.

"So are we on good terms again?" asked Liam as he shrugged off his thoughts and he smiled.

"This never happened, and sure… we are on good terms again, but that is if we were on good terms before" said Wura.

"Thank you" said Liam as he smiled and in that moment Nigel walked back into the dining room.

"Please forgive me for that" said Nigel as he smiled and he sat back down on his spot.

"That is alright Uncle Nigel" said Wura as she smiled.

"Ahh, you both have not touched your food since I left" said Nigel as he realized that the same way their food was when he left, was the same way it was when he returned.

"Well uncle we were discussing some things" said Liam as he smiled.

"Ahh, I see" said Nigel as he smiled.

"Yes Uncle" said Liam as he smiled and they continued on with their dinner.

Wura was just tired, so very tired, this whole day had been something else, first it started off great with going on a morning stroll with Liam, and it was even better when Liam had ordered a carrot cake be baked for her, but Liam just had to run everything with that kiss, that kiss was just horrible.

Wura got into bed as she yawned and she sighed, she was thinking a lot, of course she was sure that she did not want Liam kissing her at all, they were not like that, besides, she was still angry at him, he stole her first kiss on their wedding day, and she was cut unawares.

"Liam, you are so stupid" said Wura to herself as she sighed.

"No I am so stupid for letting myself become childish just because of you" said Wura as she reprimanded herself.

"*Sigh*" said Wura as she sighed and she played with her hair, she did not know why she got all defensive whenever Liam was involved, it annoyed her so much.

"Okay Wura, go to sleep now, that is enough thinking" said Wura to herself and she closed her eyes, she had to force herself to go to sleep, if she kept on thinking about Liam, she would remain awake for the rest of the night.

So Wura forced herself to go to sleep as she took a deep breath, cleared her mind and she drifted off into slumber.

The next morning.

Wura yawned as she woke up, and she got out of bed as she heard a knock on her door, she first thought that maybe it was Nora, but then she remembered that Nora had gone home.

"Come in" said Wura as she yawned and a young black haired girl walked into the room as she closed the door behind her.

"Good Morrow my Queen" said the girl as she bowed her head.

"Oh Good Morrow" said Wura as she turned to look at the girl.

"My Queen, I am the maid sent here to serve you till Nora returns" said the maid as she kept her head bowed.

"Oh, I see" said Wura.

"Please look up" said Wura as she smiled and the girl did as she was told.

"What is your name?" asked Wura as she smiled.

"Mila, my Queen" said the maid as she bowed her head.

"Well Mila, it is nice to meet you, you have a very beautiful name" said Wura as she smiled.

"Thank you my Queen" said Mila as she could not help but smile.

"My Queen, do you require my assistance with anything?" asked Mila.

"Ahh well yes… I would like to have my bath now" said Wura as she smiled.

"Ahh alright my Queen, I will prepare your bath right away" said Mila as she smiled and she nodded her head.

"Thank you Mila" said Wura as she smiled, she missed Nora a lot, she really hoped that she was well, and that her father was better as well.

"Lady Marli, you wanted to see me?" asked Wura as she smiled and she looked at Lady Marli as a maid was following behind her.

"Yes my Queen, I hope that you are doing well" said Lady Marli as she smiled.

"I am doing well Lady Marli, and how are you?" as Wura as she smiled.

"I am good as well" said Lady Marli as she smiled.

"My Queen, I hope that Mila is serving you well" said Lady Marli as she smiled.

"She is Lady Marli" said Wura as she smiled.

"Well I am glad that she is" said Lady Marli as she smiled.

"Well here are the records that you asked for my Queen, put them on the table" said Lady Marli as she looked at the maid standing behind her.

"Yes my lady" said the maid as she nodded her head and she placed the records on the table.

"Thank you Lady Marli" said Wura as she smiled.

"My Queen, if I may suggest something" said Lady Marli.

"Of course Lady Marli, you may go ahead" said Wura as she smiled.

"My Queen, I suggest that it is time you have your own office, or if you do not prefer to, you can work in somewhere else, that is not your room, because I am sure that your room will get cluttered with all these records" said Lady Marli.

"You do have a good point Lady Marli" said Wura as she had to agree with Lady Marli.

"Maybe I do need my own office, but I am not ready for that right now" said Wura as she smiled.

"That is no worry my Queen, you can just use his Majesty's study" said Lady Marli as she smiled.

"His Majesty's study?" asked Wura in surprise as Lady Marli nodded her head.

"No, I am sorry to say Lady Marli, but I do not think that is possible, his Majesty will not allow that" said Wura as she shook her head, since that study belonged to Liam's mother, then it was a special place for him that he would not just let anyone into.

"On the contrary my Queen, his Majesty already spoke to me on the matter earlier, this morning, and he suggested that you can use his study, seeing as he rarely uses it" said Lady Marli.

"I see" said Wura as something felt odd about the whole thing.

"But I am sure that there are many other studies in the Castle, how about I use one of them?" asked Wura.

"Ahh well my Queen, the other studies are yet to be cleaned, and this is just a temporary arrangement for the time being" said Lady Marli.

"I see…" said Wura.

"So what do you say my Queen?" asked Lady Marli as she smiled.

"Ahh well alright then, I will use his Majesty's study for the time being" said Wura as she smiled.

"Oh that is great my Queen, you can go there as soon as you deem fit" said Lady Marli with a smile.

"Alright then" said Wura with a smile on her face.
