Slow down

Wura could not sleep, not at all, how could she possibly sleep when they were so close, so, so close to finding Liam?

She found this unfair, so unfair, if not for the fact that everyone was against her and she thought it through, she would have gone to speak to Nigel herself, but she did not want to disturb him if he truly was resting.

Wura sighed as she just sat up straight in her bed, she had a mix of many emotions, relief, anticipation, impatience, just so many of those feelings could not allow her to rest, not at all.

"My Queen, you are still awake?" asked Nora with a yawn as she walked into Wura's room with a tray in her hand.

"How do you expect me to sleep when we already know where Liam is, but we cannot take any action to find him?" replied Wura in annoyance as Nora had anticipated that Wura would say that, it was clear that she was annoyed.

"My Queen, I brought you some tea to calm you down" said Nora as she yawned once again, she knew that Wura was restless, and well, that was not a good thing at all, Wura could forget to consider her actions when she was restless and Nora feared that happening.

"I do not want any tea Nora, I only want the sun to rise up already so I can speak to Uncle Nigel" said Wura as she was annoyed.

"I… *Yawn*, I understand your frustration my Queen but… *Yawn*, you need to take it easy and take a pause first" said Nora as she kept on yawning, she was tired.

"You do not understand how I feel Nora, because if you did, then you would let me do as I want to" said Wura.

"Please understand us all my Queen, we only care for your wellbeing and that of the Royal Duke's as well" said Nora as she yawned once again.

"Mhmm" said Wura.

"Nora, I can see that you are tired, you can leave, I will be fine alone" said Wura as Nora placed the tray on the dining table.

"No… *Yawn* my Queen… I will not leave, I prefer to keep you company" said Nora as she yawned and she shook her head, she would not leave Wura alone, she knew that Wura would only be even more restless if she was alone.

"But you are tired, and you keep on yawning" said Wura as she wanted Nora to leave, mostly because she knew that she was very tired.

"No my Queen, I am alright, I will just sit here" said Nora as she sat down on the couch as Wura just shook her head.

"My Queen, are you sure that you still do not want some tea?" asked Nora.

"I made it very sweet to calm you" said Nora as she yawned again.

"No Nora, I am fine" said Wura as she refused, she did not want tea, she wanted Liam.

"Alright… my Queen…" said Nora as her voice trailed off as she closed her eyes for a spilt second, but her eyelids were so heavy, so much so that once she closed the, she could not open them again, and she drifted off into slumber as she began to breathe heavily.

"Nora?" called Wura as she whispered.

"Nora" called Wura once again with a whisper as she realized that Nora had fallen asleep.

Wura sighed as she shook her head, Nora was just telling her a moment ago that she was not tired and yet here she was sleeping.

Wura got out of bed as she took her blanket and she walked to the couch as she laid her blanket over Nora, she would have adjusted her position, but she did not want to accidentally wake Nora up.

Wura smiled as she looked at Nora, maybe she really was being a pain… but she could not help it, and even so, Nora was still not blaming her at all.

Wura sighed as she walked to the dining table and she poured herself a cup of tea as she took a sip of it and she took a deep breath, Nora was right… it was sweet.

Wura walked to sit down on her bed as she took another sip of her tea as she looked to the direction of her window that Nora had left open, maybe Nora was right, maybe she needed to slow down and take it easy, just for this time, they were so close to finding Liam, so she truly needed to take it slowly.

"My Queen, please slow down, please wait" said Nora as she rushed after Wura as Wura did not even waste a second as she rushed out of her room.

"I waited yesterday, I am not going to wait today again" said Wura as she did not wait for Nora at all.

"But my Queen, you have not had breakfast yet" said Nora as she closed the door of Wura's room.

"Breakfast can wait, this cannot" said Wura as she walked quickly and she turned to the right.

"My Queen, please wait for me" said Nora as she wondered how Wura could walk so quickly.

"You know where I am going Nora, you can meet me there when you are ready" said Wura as she quickly walked up the stairs and Nora heaved as she was so tired, it was tiring to try to keep up with Wura.

"My Queen, please wait" said Nora as she heaved, she was the Palace maid here, and yet she could not keep up with Wura.

"You all are here so early" said Nigel as he smiled and he looked at Mero, Zuph, Luc, Elihu and Zechariah who were all in his office.

"Well yes we are Royal Duke" said Elihu as he replied.

"I thought that her Majesty would have been here by now" said Mero considering how impatient she was last night, he had expected to see her be the first here.

"Maybe she is tired, the journey yesterday truly was long" said Nigel as he smiled.

"Hmm" said Luc.

"Speaking of which, how was the journey?" asked Nigel.

"It was good Royal Duke" said Mero as Nigel smiled.

"So what happened? Did you meet with the diviner?" asked Nigel.

"Royal Duke, I believe that it would be best for her Majesty to explain herself" said Mero as Nigel nodded his head, he understood.

In that same moment, there came a knock on the door.

"Enter" said Nigel as Wura quickly opened the door as she walked into the room.

"Good Morrow Uncle" said Wura as she looked at Nigel.

"Good Morrow Wura" said Nigel as he smiled.

"Good Morrow your Majesty" said Mero and the others.

"You all are already here?" asked Wura as she looked at Mero and the others, of course she should not have trusted them.

"Yes my Queen, we are" replied Mero.

"What did you tell Uncle Nigel?" asked Wura as she narrowed her eyes at Mero, she knew that he did not trust what Elysia said, and he did not want him giving Nigel a wrong view.

"Nothing my Queen, we were waiting for you" said Mero.

"I do not believe you" said Wura.

"My dear, he speaks the truth, he said nothing to me at all" said Nigel as he looked at Wura and he smiled as Wura looked at him as in the same moment Nora appeared at the door heaving as she quickly put herself together.

"Good Morrow Royal Duke, Good Morrow Everyone" said Nora as she heaved.

"Good Morrow Nora" said Nigel as he smiled.

"Good Morrow" replied the others as Mero said nothing as Nora closed the door behind them.

"Uncle, I need to tell you what the diviner said" said Wura as she jumped straight to the point.

"Wait my dear, please slow down first, sit down, and explain calmly" said Nigel as he could see that Wura was eager to tell him what happened, which gave him relief that it was good news that she had heard.

"Alright Uncle" said Wura as she took a deep breath and she sat down on the couch as Nora walked to stand beside her.

"Now you can continue dear" said Nigel as he smiled.

"Alright Uncle what happened was…" said Wura as she was cut off.

"Sorry to interrupt you my Queen but, is it advisable that she is here while we discuss this delicate matter?" asked Mero.

"What is that supposed to mean?" asked Wura as Nora kept her head bowed.

"My Queen, this matter is very delicate and is not for all ears" said Mero.

"Well for your information, Nora is not just all ears, she is my personal maid, and I trust her, besides, she knows everything already, so I don't see what she being here has to do with anything" said Wura as she narrowed her eyes at Mero.

"I understand my Queen, it was not my intention to offend you" said Mero as he apologized.

"Mhmm, right" said Wura as she did not believe him at all, everyone kept quiet as they could all notice that there was something between Wura and Mero, but they would say nothing.

"My dear, what did you want to tell me?" asked Nigel as he smiled to get Wura's attention from Mero to him.

"Ahh yes Uncle" said Wura as she looked at Nigel.

"It is about Liam, we know where he is" said Wura as she smiled, she smiled in so much relief and Nigel smiled in relief as well as he took a deep breath.
