Silence, that was what reigned between Wura and Liam as they rode in calmness through the barren wilderness.

Wura was deep in her own thoughts, she could not help but be angry at Liam, he was still supporting Darla, even though he did not say it directly, it made her annoyed, she hated Darla even more than before, she was just a very horrible person.

But then again, Wura's anger disappeared when she remembered how Liam put himself in danger just to save her, she could not help but love him even more, oh how she wished that she could hold him close and kiss him without worrying that he would push her away because he did not know who she was.

Wura decided that being upset with him would be totally unnecessary, and she would take having him by her side any day rather than not knowing where he was.

"Liam, I have a question" said Wura.

"What is it?" asked Liam as he smiled, he was glad that she was talking to him, he knew that she was very upset from what happened with Darla.

"How did you rescue me? I mean how did you all plan to rescue me?" asked Wura as Liam smiled.

"Well it was everyone that thought of a way to rescue you, and we eventually went with Darla's plan" said Liam.

"You did?" asked Wura in surprise.

"Darla wanted to save me?" asked Wura in surprise as she could not believe that at all, Darla was the one who sold her off in the first place, so for her to come back to think of a plan to rescue her, it would be unbelievable.

"Yes she did, she apologized after we found out what she had done" said Liam.

"Believe me I was furious with her, and she tried to atone for her misdeeds by helping us save you" said Liam.

"I doubt that, I cannot believe it, Darla is a slippery snake, and I will not trust her again" said Wura as she scoffed.

"I know why you think like that Lily, and I do not blame you at all, but she did try her best, and she promised me that she would apologize to you and beg for your forgiveness" said Liam.

"And you believe that?" asked Wura as she scoffed.

"She did not seem like she was pretending" said Liam as Wura scoffed.

"She is free to apologize, but I have no obligation to forgive her" said Wura as Liam just smiled at her.

"Well Darla went to the market, she bought some potions, and also the wagon which was destroyed, as well as the clothes that we are wearing to hide ourselves from the giants" said Liam.

"Mero, Malcom, Zuph and Elihu helped me throw stones to shatter the windows of the halls, and after that they quickly left to safety, while I stayed back, and I threw the potions through the windows" said Liam.

"And that was what caused the pink smoke right?" asked Wura.

"Yes it was a potion with this fog in it, and that gave me the opportunity to come into the hall without the giants noticing, and I got you" said Liam as Wura nodded, now this all made sense.

"But how could you see through the pink smoke? It was very thick; I was even struggling to find my way out of there" said Wura.

"Since I came in from outside, I could see very fine, the smoke only cleared the vision of those who were already in the hall" said Liam.

"I see" said Wura.

"*Gasp*" said Wura as she gasped.

"What is it Lily?" asked Liam as he heard her gasp in horror.

"Oh my, Liam I am so sorry, I bit you, I thought that you were trying to capture me" said Wura as she suddenly remembered that she bit Liam, she felt so bad, so bad right now.

"Oh that, it is fine Lily, you do not need to apologize" said Liam as he smiled, he found her reaction cute, she just remembered that she truly did bite him, but at the moment he did not mind, he knew that she was just scared.

"No there is need for me to apologize, I bit you, let me check your hand, let me see" said Wura in worry as she took Liam's hand.

"That is not necessary Lily" said Liam as he smiled.

"No it is, I bit your hand, I feel so bad" said Wura as she took Liam's hand in hers as he looked at it, it was red, she breathed a sigh of relief when she did not see any teeth marks to show that she caused him wounds.

"Do you have water with you?" asked Wura as she looked at Liam and he looked at her as he sighed and he used his other hand to get a leather pouch of water from a sack attached to the horse as he gave it to her.

"I am so sorry Liam, forgive me" said Wura as she could not believe that she bit her husband's hand, she felt so bad, she hoped that his hand truly was fine, but just in case, she would wash it for him.

Thank you" said Wura as she poured some water on his hand and she washed it for him as Liam said nothing at all, he knew that she was bent on washing his hand for him.

"Thank you Liam" said Wura as she smiled and she could not help herself as she kissed his hand quickly which surprised Liam.

"What are you thanking me for?" asked Liam as he smiled.

"For everything, for always being so kind, and patient with me" said Wura as she smiled at him, she did not know anyone who could tolerate her stubborn attitude as good as Liam could, he was just so perfect for her, and she loved him so much, and it hurt her that she was unable to tell him just how much she loved him.

"You do not need to thank me Lily" said Liam as he smiled and Wura just looked ahead.

"Blasted decision, now I am stuck with this horrible woman" said Elihu as he murmured.

"I can hear you; you know?" asked Darla as she and Elihu was riding beside each other at a steady pace, they were the only ones here, and there was no one else or nothing around them.

"I know, I am not hiding how I feel about you, you are such a horrible woman to even dare think of selling off Lily to those giants" said Elihu in spite.

"I said that I was sorry" said Darla.

"Tell me this, are you sorry because you truly feel bad for what you did? Or are you sorry because you were caught, and we all pinned it on you, and you had no other way to regain Liam's trust, because If you ask me, I am sure that it is the latter" said Elihu as Darla kept quiet.

"Well none of this would have happened if you and Lily had just stayed away and not come with us" said Darla.

"Oh you dare have the guts to say that?" asked Elihu as he scoffed.

"We know what we are looking for, I am looking for my king, meanwhile, you… you are trying to steal the heart of a married man, I never took you for a marriage wrecker, but well here we are" said Elihu.

"You have no right to speak to me that way" said Darla.

"Oh I have every right to, you think that you are better than me? Well sorry to tell you Darling, you are not, you are nothing but a sorry little girl, who cannot find anyone to love her, so she results to trying to get the attention of an already married man" said Elihu.

"Oh you shut up, you do not know anything, well it must take one to know one, you think that I do not know your type? The usual womanizing man, you cannot talk about be negatively, not when you, you are no better than me" said Darla as she replied in anger.

"Tell me, how many other women have you slept with? And those who are married included as well, you are nothing but a hypocrite" said Darla as she scoffed.

"Well I stopped doing such things, I have turned over a new leaf, so you can say nothing about me" said Elihu.

"And if you are talking about a hypocrite, you are the original hypocrite, you lie, you cheat, you do anything just to have your way" said Elihu.

"I do what I do to have to take care of myself, and my brothers, it is called self sacrifice, something that you know nothing about!" said Darla.

"Oh you do not know anything, self sacrifice, self sacrifice is sacrificing yourself, to fight for those who cannot fight, to risk your life for people who do not even know you, to be aware of the fact that you can die at any given moment, and you would be forgotten like the wind, and yet, you still go on, and make sure to fight your best, to protect your people, you speak about sacrifice, I am sure that the only thing that you have ever sacrificed in your life, would be a boot or two" said Elihu as Darla moved her hand to slap him as he held her hand.

"Do not test me, I have respect for women, but you are a werewolf, I might as well teach you a lesson or two in respect and obedience" said Elihu as he squeezed Darla's hand and she growled.

"Go on then, turn into a mad dog, because you certainly are one" said Elihu as in that same moment Darla spit directly to his face a their horses stopped moving.

"You dare spit on me!!" said Elihu as he never, never in his entire life, had to suffer through humiliation such as this.

"You deserve it, your face resembles the dirty ground, my spit will clean it for you" said Darla as she smiled.

"You witch" said Elihu as he cleaned her spit off his face.

"You wretched woman, no wonder men do not like you, you are nothing but a ravaged dog" said Elihu as Darla grunted.

"Let go of me, you horrible man" said Darla as she struggled to get free from Elihu's hold.

"No, you are the horrible one" said Elihu as in the same moment he heard something that caused him to quickly get off his horse as he pushed Darla to the ground along with himself as he landed on top of her and Darla cried out in pain from the fall as she fell from her horse to the ground on her back.

"Are you insane? What is wrong with you? Why would you push me off?" asked Darla as Elihu covered her mouth and he paid no attention to her at all as just as he had heard, he saw an arrow land not too far from them.

"Now listen here and listen good, we are being followed, someone shot an arrow at us, not if you do not want the both of us to end up getting killed, you will stand up, act as if nothing happened, and show me another way that we can use to meet up with Mero and the others, are we clear?" asked Elihu as he whispered and Darla nodded as she realized that he was right, she had been hearing some noises, but she thought that it was only one of their horses.

"Good" said Elihu as he removed his hand from her mouth, he got up, and he helped her up as she quickly got back on her horse as she led the way, she knew where they could go to loose whoever it was that was following them as Elihu followed after her.

"I am worried about Darla and everyone else and Lily" said Dothan as he looked at Zuph.

"Do not worry Dothan, they will all be fine, we will meet them all soon" said Zuph as he looked at Dothan and he smiled.

"Zuph, turn to the right" said Malcom as Zuph nodded and he moved where Malcom told him to.

"I am worried about Darla as well" said Dothan.

"Well do not be worried, Elihu will make sure to take good care of Darla" said Zuph as Malcom sighed.

"Nora, you have been awfully quiet, say something" said Mero as he stopped the horse and he got down as he looked at Nora.

"I do not think that this Is a good idea, we have not seem my lady yet, we do not know where she is, I do not feel easy at all" said Nora as she looked at Mero.

"Liam will find where we are" said Mero as Nora said nothing at all.

"And I also do not think that it was a good idea for us all to split up, what if something happens to the other? What would we do then?" asked Nora.

"Well Zuph, Malcom and Dothan will be fine, and Elihu will be able to handle Darla" said Mero.

"I do not care about that woman at all, for all I care, she can get lost and never return" said Nora as Mero was surprised by her attitude.

"You really wish her evil?" asked Mero.

"My anger is justified, what she did is unforgivable" said Nora as Mero just sighed.

"My king, we have searched everywhere, and we have been unable to find your bride, as if she vanished into thin air" said Gomer as he walked to Magog who was pacing up and down.

"No, no this is impossible" said Magog as he shouted.

"My King, calm down, we cannot find her" said Gomer.

"Then try harder and find her!" said Magog.

"My king, we have done all we can do, she probably ran into the forest" said Gomer.

"Then get me the slayer, that blasted husband of hers much have come and get, her, if that is so, then I will make sure that she lives the rest of her days as a widow" said Magog.

"Yes Sire" said Gomer as he nodded his head.

"Go Now!!" said Magog.

"Yes my king" said Gomer as he bowed and he quickly left to go and get the man who Magog asked for.

"You will suffer Wura, for daring to leave me, you will suffer with no mercy" said Magog to himself as he grunted, he was furious, so furious, he would not let Wura go so happily, never ever.
