Playing with me

Wura continued to pace up and down as every single second she got more and more of an unsettling feeling within her.

"What is taking Liam so long? He should be out by now" said Wura as she paced up and down and Nora did not know what to do at all, they had already finished all their water, Wura had been drinking a lot of water lately.

"My lady, please relax, as Sir Mero said, he should not be too long, you need to relax" said Nora as Wura looked at her and she nodded as she stopped pacing up and down and she looked at Nora.

"Yes, I should relax, I need to relax" said Wura to herself as she repeated it and she nodded her head, she just could not help but feel more uneasy every passing moment.

"I noticed that you have not directly answered my questions" said Liam as he looked at Elvira who was adding some ingredients into her cauldron.

"Oh, but Liam, you have not directly asked me any questions, as they say, ask and it shall be given, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you" said Elvira as she looked at Liam and she smiled.

"Alright then, tell me who I am, who I really am" said Liam.

"Well you are a great man, a very great man, you are Liam of Wyverdale, the born and mighty, strong ruler" said Elvira with a smile.

"What do you mean ruler?" asked Liam.

"You are the King, the King of Wyverdale, a title you inherited from your father when he passed away, may his soul rest in peace" said Elvira with a smile.

"So you are saying that I am a king?" asked Liam as Elvira smiled and she nodded as he did not believe her right now.

"I know that it is hard to believe, but it Is the truth, you have always wondered why you were so good with handling a sword, well that is because you are a man of war, who trained relentlessly and fought for his Kingdom for five years" said Elvira.

"Then how come I cannot remember any of that then? How come I cannot remember who I am, where I come from?" asked Liam as he knew better than to trust the words of Elvira.

"Because there is an enchantment on your eyes" said Elvira as she stood up and she walked to a shelf nearby as she had her back turned to Liam.

"Why? Who enchanted me then?" asked Liam as Elvira paused and she took a glass vial from the shelf.

"I doubt that is what is most important right now my King, what is important is you breaking it and recollecting all your memories" said Elvira as she turned to look at him and she threw the glass vial in the cauldron as it made a crashing sound as it broke and a white mist started to form.

"Then tell me, who is my wife?" asked Liam.

"And how did I get here?" asked Liam.

"Well my King, that would be too much for to have to explain, so I would rather show you" said Elvira with a smile.

"Show me how?" asked Liam in confusion.

"Take a look into the cauldron, and see the truth" said Elvira as she smiled and Liam looked at her.

"How do I know that you are not just lying and playing with me?" asked Liam as something told him not to look into the cauldron.

"For a fact, I can never lie, I only speak the truth, those are the rules" said Elvira as she smiled.

"Just take a look and see everything that you have forgotten" said Elvira with a smile as Liam leaned in closer and against all the warnings and fear in his mind, he took a look into the cauldron as he started to see blurry images, like memories.

He saw a woman, a blonde haired woman with blue eyes as she looked at him, she laughed and she smiled, he could hear her giggles in his ear, this was the same woman that he had seen repeatedly in his dreams.

At that moment, Liam felt his heart break, because if he was seeing this woman right now, then it meant that she was his wife, his true wife… which meant that there was no place for Wura in his life, he regretted taking a look.

Liam looked up as he looked at Elvira.

"Do not look at me like that, I never gave you the idea to cheat on your wife" said Elvira with a smile as Liam did not answer her, he felt like such a horrible man right now, he did cheat on his wife with Wura, neither of them deserved that sort of unfaithfulness from him, he did not know what he was going to tell Wura when she asked him what he had seen.

"Where is she?" asked Liam.

"Oh just nearby, east of here, she is desperately waiting for you, waiting for you to come back home, and remember her" said Elvira as she smiled.

"It is a shame though, the other woman seemed really nice" said Elvira with a laugh.

"Do not call her that, she is not the other woman" said Liam in anger.

"Oh relax Liam, you should focus on some more important things, for instance, breaking that enchantment you have in your eyes, so you can remember everything" said Elvira with a smile.

"And how do I do that?" asked Liam.

"I can help you" said Elvira.

"How?" asked Liam as Elvira smiled and she stood up once more as she walked to the shelf, and she picked up a golden goblet.

"I can make you a drink that will break the enchantment in an instant" said Elvira.

"All you have to do is give me your permission to make it" said Elvira with a smile.

"I want it" said Liam as Elvira smiled.

"Good choice" said Elvira as she poured some strange clear liquid in the goblet, she added a few spices and herbs as some white mist started to blow out of the goblet as she smiled and she whispered something under her breath.

"Here, drink it" said Elvira as she walked to Liam and she handed him the goblet as he took it from her.

"Are you sure that once I drink this I will remember my memories?" asked Liam once more as he looked at Elvira.

"You will remember all" said Elvira with a smile as Liam decided not to waste any time and he drank from the goblet as Elvira watched him in expectancy as he did so.

"What is that noise?" asked Dothan as he heard a huge crashing sound coming from not too far away.

"I do not know" replied Mero.

"Well let us go and find out" said Dothan as he ran in the direction.

"Dothan, come back here, you cannot go alone" said Mero as Dothan ignored him and he continued to run as Mero scoffed and he ran after him as Nora shook her head.

Wura felt a pricking sensation in her heart Liam was in trouble, he was in trouble, she could feel it, she needed to find him, to go to him right now.

"My lady, what is wrong? You look so pale" said Nora as she looked at Wura.

"Nora, something is wrong with Liam, I have to go and find him now, right now!" said Wura in a panicked tone.

"Relax my lady, let me go with you then" said Nora as Wura shook her head.

"No you stay here in case Mero returns, I have to go now!" said Wura as she ran up the steps of the temple quickly and into the temple.

Wura looked around as she saw the many halls and turns, she did not know which way to in, but she knew that Liam needed her right now, she could not be late, so Wura just stopped thinking and she ran in the first direction that came to mind.

She turned left and then right and then left again as she looked at the halls that were looking more and more familiar as she kept on running and she stopped running when she saw a closed door at the end of the hall.

She did not know why but she knew that Liam was in there, he was in that room, so without thinking she ran to the door, she opened it and walked into the room where she saw Elvira standing and Liam kneeling as he looked like he was in some sort of trance, his eyes were pale and he was not moving at all.

"Liam!!" called Wura as she rushed to him and she touched him in a panicked way.

"Liam, what is wrong with you? Speak to me? What happened?" asked Wura as Liam did not reply to her at all.

"What did you do to him??!" asked Wura as she turned to look at Elvira, she knew that she was the one responsible for why Liam was like this.

"My Queen, please take it easy, no harm will come to your husband" said Elvira with a smile.

"But what did you do to him? Why is he like this?" asked Wura as she looked around and she saw a golden goblet on the ground as there was some strange brown liquid that spilt out of it, it looked like the goblet had been dropped.

"You made him drink something did you not?" asked Wura as she looked at Elvira with anger.

"Just like your husband you are very attentive, what a great match made in heaven" said Elvira as she smiled.

"Stop speaking and answer me!" said Wura in anger, she was so worried for Liam right now.
