Talk about

The next day.

Mero was walking down the halls, he had been unable to sleep last night, he just had so many things on his mind, and frankly he was seriously worried about Liam, with everything Wura told him, he had resisted the urge to tell her that he told her not to trust diviners or witches.

Those people were just not to be trusted, they were the worst of the worst, telling you what you wanted to hear for their own gain and at the expense of your own sanity, they were all the same.

Mero scoffed as he calmed himself down and he knocked on the door of Wura's room as Nora walked to the door and she answered it.

"Oh Good morning Sir Mero" said Nora.

"Good Morning Nora, is her Majesty awake? I need to speak to her" asked Mero as before Nora could reply Wura's voice came in from inside the room.

"Nora who is that?" asked Wura.

"It is Sir Mero, he wants to speak to you my Queen" replied Nora.

"Let him in Nora" said Wura.

"Alright my Queen" said Nora as she nodded.

"Sir Mero you may come in" said Nora as she opened the door and she moved aside for him to pass.

"Thank you Nora" said Mero as he nodded and he walked into the room as Nora closed the door behind him.

"Good Morning my Queen" said Mero as Wura turned to look at him as she was sitting in front of her dressing table mirror.

"Good morning Mero" replied Wura.

"How was your night my Queen?" asked Mero.

"I cannot lie, I have had better, and how was your night, and the night of the others, I believe that being back here, I have not quite adjusted to it yet" said Wura.

"I agree with you my Queen" said Mero as he nodded.

"Ahh my Queen, please excuse me, let me return these dishes to the kitchen" said Nora as Mero and Wura looked at her, she could see that they were about to discuss something very important, and she did not want to meddle in it, she wanted to leave the room to give them some privacy to speak.

"Alright Nora, but by the time you return I should not be here, so please go to Uncle Nigel's office, I would like you to be there" said Wura as Nora nodded.

"Yes my Queen, please excuse me" said Nora as she nodded her head and Wura smiled as she walked away and she left Mero and Wura alone as they looked at each other.

"So what do you want to talk to me about Mero?" asked Wura as she could see that he had something to say.

"It is about the Royal Duke and the imposter my Queen, but I fear that what I am about to say would upset you" said Mero.

"Say it regardless Mero, I know that whatever you say would be reasonable" said Wura as Mero nodded.

"My Queen, through the night I was thinking about the royal Duke and the imposter, if it would truly be reasonable to expose the imposter in front of the Royal Duke" said Mero.

"I thought the same Mero, and I agree with you honestly" said Wura as she stood up and she walked to the door as Mero opened the door for her and she walked through it and he followed after her as he closed the door behind him.

"it might seem like the best option to just keep everything the way it is and not tell uncle Nigel anything, considering his health and how he would react to the news but…" said Wura as she took a pause and some guards bowed down before her as she passed them in the hall as Mero followed after her.

"But we cannot lie to him, he deserves to know the truth as much as anyone else does" said Wura.

"Yes, he might feel guilty for not being able to tell the difference between an imposter and his nephew, but we cannot blame him at all now can we?" asked Wura.

"No my Queen, we cannot" said Mero.

"Yes" said Wura.

"So we are not going to hide the truth from him?" asked Mero as Wura looked at him.

"Not at all, we all need to know the truth, and I will tell him just that" said Wura as Mero nodded.

"As you say my Queen" said Mero as he would not argue with Wura, she was the Queen after all.

"Yes" said Wura as she nodded her head.

"Oh my Queen, it is so good to see you" said Zechariah as he smiled and he saw Wura and Mero approaching as Wura smiled at him.

"It is good to see you too Zechariah" said Wura as she smiled.

"I am happy to see that everything was alright here" said Wura as she smiled.

"Yes my Queen, although we were worried about you all" said Zechariah as he smiled.

"Yes" said Wura as she looked at Mero, she had an idea.

"Zechariah, have you noticed anything strange about Liam lately?" asked Wura.

"Well now that you mention it my Queen, he has been behaving rather strangely since we found him" said Zechariah.

"Strange how?" asked Wura.

"Well he does not remember his memories, he forgot his skills, he barely knows who we are, and well, he has just been strange lately, and the Royal Duke hoped that he would return back to himself soon" said Zechariah.

"I see" said Wura.

"Yes my Queen, if I may ask, is something wrong?" asked Zechariah.

"No, no, everything is fine Zechariah, everything will be settled out when we speak with Uncle Nigel" said Wura.

"Yes my Queen" said Zechariah as he could sense something strange here.

"Yes Zechariah, can you please go and tell Uncle Nigel to meet us in his office" said Wura.

"Yes my Queen" said Zechariah as he nodded and Wura smiled at him as he walked away and Mero and Wura continued walking till they reached Nigel's office and they saw Lown walking towards them.

"Good Morrow my Queen" said Lown as he bowed.

"Good morrow Lown" said Wura as she replied and Mero opened the door to Nigel's office for Wura as she walked in and she thanked him as he nodded and Lown entered after her as Mero entered and he closed the door behind them.

Wura sat down on the couch as Lown stood in front of her and Mero stood beside her.

"What is it?" asked Mero as he looked at Lown, he could see some hesitance in his eyes, he still could not believe how identical he looked to Liam that it was almost scary.

"What is it Lown?" asked Wura as she looked at Lown, he looked scared.

"Ahh my Queen, it is just that… I do not think that it would be a good idea to tell everyone that I am not actually Liam" said Lown.

"I mean, why do I not just run away never to be seen again, that would be a better alternative than telling everyone the truth" said Lown.

"You are not going to get yourself out of this, it is absurd for you to think that you can just run away just like that" said Mero with anger as he looked at Lown who looked down, he should have thought about the consequences before he pretended to be Liam and did not correct anyone.

"Mero, I do not like that tone, you are being to harsh on him" said Wura.

"I apologize my Queen, but he is saying nonsense, he cannot just choose to run away because he is scared" said Mero as he sighed.

"I know that Mero, but you know that he is scared" said Wura as Mero sighed.

"Look Lown, I know that you are scared, but you lied to everyone and pretended to be someone that you are not" said Wura.

"Although I know why you did what you did, it still does not make it any better, you made a mistake, and now you have to correct it are we clear?" asked Wura as Lown nodded.

"Good, and you do not have to be scared, you will not be harmed or hurt, not as long as I am here, I will not let anyone hurt you, you just have to tell the truth alright?" asked Wura.

"Yes my Queen" said Lown as he nodded his head.

"Good, now sit down here beside me, while we wait for everyone else" said Wura.

"Yes my Queen" said Lown as he nodded his head and he sat down beside Wura as Mero shook his head, he felt like Wura was too soft, especially with creatures, but what could he say, she was the Queen after all, and she was the one who could choose how to best handle this situation on hand.
