Makes you happy

The next morning.

"Nora, I have searched everywhere, in the kitchen, in the stables, in the library in the Queen's office and she is nowhere to be found at all" said maid as she looked at Nora who sighed.

"And I asked the guards and they said that they had not seen her today at all" said the maid.

Nora had woken up this morning, gotten dressed and she started her daily activities for the day which was by coming to Wura's room to wake her up, help her bathe and get dressed.

So imagine her surprise and panic when she did not see Wura in her bed as usual, this had never happened before, Wura was not one to just wonder off like that.

"Nora, what do we do? We cannot find the Queen anywhere, what If something bad happened to her?" asked the maid.

"Highly unlikely, the Queen cannot be harmed in a castle full of knights and several guards" replied Nora as she walked to the window as she opened it and she saw a little sparrow fly to the window.

"Nora, I have not been able to find the Queen anywhere" came Lown's voice in a whisper as Nora nodded.

"It is fine, she should be still in the Castle, she could not have gone anywhere since the Castle gates are always locked shut at night" replied Nora with a whisper.

"Should I keep on searching for her?" asked Lown.

"No, thank you Lown" said Nora as Lown flew away.

"Have you checked his Majesty's quarters?" asked Nora as she walked to the maid.

"No Nora, we did not, since the Queen has forbade anyone from going in there, or even cleaning either his office or room" replied the maid.

"Alright" said Nora.

"Yes Nora, should I go and check in there?" asked the maid.

"No, I will do it myself, you can stay here, so you do not get in trouble for going there" said Nora.

"Thank you Nora" said the maid as she bowed her head and Nora smiled as she walked out of Wura's room.

Nora walked to Liam's quarters as she really hoped that Wura would be there, or else she would not know what to think and she would end up having to tell Mero to gather his men to search for her.

Nora walked to the two doors as she opened it and she walked in as she stood in front of another door and she opened it and walked into Liam's room as she sighed in relief when she saw Wura sleeping on the bed.

Nora walked to the bed as she smiled seeing Wura sleeping so peacefully, she had known that Wura had been unable to sleep for a long while now, ever since they returned, and it worried her so much since she could not even imagine to think what Wura was passing through at this point, so it really made Nora fee relieved to see Wura sleeping peacefully for once in a long time.

"My Queen, My Queen, it is morning, please wake up" said Nora softly as she gently tapped Wura on her shoulder, she did not want to give Wura a scare.

"My Queen" called Nora once again as Wura frowned and she opened her eyes as she yawned.

"Good Morrow my Queen" said Nora with a smile.

"Good Morrow Nora" replied Wura with a yawn, she just felt so tired, she did not want to get out of bed.

But then Wura looked around and she noticed that this bed did not feel like her bed at all, and then it dawned on her that she was not in her room, she remembered that she had slept in Liam's room.

"My Queen, you really gave all of us a scare this morning, we could not find you anywhere when you were missing in your room" said Nora as she smiled.

"Oh I am sorry about that Nora, I could not sleep and somehow I made my way to the stables and the over here, I just felt better in here, maybe because it is his room, his personal space, and I can smell his scent everywhere, it is comforting" said Wura as Nora just smiled.

"I really am sorry for giving you a scare Nora" said Wura.

"it is fine my Queen, I understand, I will be fine with whatever makes you happy" said Nora as she smiled and Wura smiled at her.

"Thank you Nora" said Wura with a smile.

"You are welcome my Queen" said Nora as she smiled.

"My Queen, would you like to rest some more?" asked Nora.

"No, It would be lazy of me to stay in bed while I have many things to do" replied Wura with a sigh as she sat up straight on the bed.

"Alright my Queen, would you like me to prepare your bath here and bring you some dresses to choose from?" asked Nora.

"Yes Nora, please do that, and choose a dress for me, I actually want to move to this room, can I do that?" asked Wura.

"You can do whatever pleases you my Queen, I will ask that your things be moved here" said Nora with a smile.

"Thank you Nora, you are the best" said Wura with a smile.

"I am like that because of you my Queen" replied Nora with a smile.

"What will you have for breakfast my Queen?" asked Nora.

"Has everyone eaten breakfast already?" asked Wura.

"Yes my Queen" said Nora.

"Alright then, some eggs should be fine" replied Wura.

"Alright my Queen, I will be right back" said Nora with a smile.

"Thank you for everything Nora" said Wura with a smile as Nora smiled at her and she walked out of the room was Wura sighed.

"I feel closer to you in here… I wonder how you are doing Liam, my love" said Wura with a sigh as she smiled sadly.

"My Queen, Lady Marli needs your go ahead in paying the wages of all the Castle workers" said Nora as she walked into Wura's room as Wura was busy reading something.

"Do you have the record of the last wages paid?" asked Wura.

"Yes my Queen, here is it" said Nora as she handed the records to Wura as she looked to them.

"The wages of the Castle workers should be increased by double" said Wura as she handed the records back to Nora.

"I spoke to my mother, and she told me that prices in the market have gone up, so the wages the workers receive should increase as well" said Wura.

"Alright my Queen, I will inform Lady Marli" said Nora as she bowed.

"Yes Nora, and I know that you have many days off that you have not used, you can go home if you wish" said Wura.

"No my Queen, I know that you need me here, so I will stay here with you" said Nora.

"You do not have to remain here because of me Nora, you have done a lot, you deserve a break" said Wura as she smiled.

"My Queen, my duty is to serve you, and I will do just that, my parents are not running away, you need me more here than over there" said Nora as she smiled.

"Thank you Nora" said Wura as she smiled, she really appreciated her.

"You are welcome my Queen, let me inform Lady Marli of your new orders" said Nora as she smiled and she bowed and walked out of the room.

Wura went back to reading when she heard a knock on her room door and she allowed the person come in.

"Greetings My Queen" said Mero.

"Greetings Mero" replied Wura with a smile.

"What can I do for you?" asked Wura as she smiled.

"My lady the knights require new armour" said Mero.

"And how exactly do I go about that Mero, please inform me, because I am completely lost as to what to do" said Wura.

"Well my Queen, what would be done usually would be giving the iron to the blacksmith who would make the armour and he would be paid" said Mero.

"How much would he be paid?" asked Wura.

"It is an amount dependant on how many pieces of armour he makes" said Mero.

"Alright I see, just get me the records of all the previous amounts paid to him and I will sign for him to be paid" said Wura.

"Alright my Queen, I will do so, but please do not pay him before he makes the armour, several problems can arise if you do" said Mero.

"Alright Mero, I will not thank you" said Wura as she smiled.

"Mero, about the deal we have with the east, what is happening to that? From what I read we have not received any gold or iron from them in months" said Wura as she had read through everything Liam had done.

"My Queen as for that matter, I advise that you leave things as the are, the East people are very cunning, and I am afraid that you are not yet well experienced to manage them" said Mero.

"Alright Mero, I will take your word for It, you do not have to worry, I will not dabble into anything dangerous" said Wura simply.

"Alright my Queen, I will take my leave now" said Mero as he bowed and Wura nodded as he left her room and Wura thought about just how busy Liam was with all the matters of the Kingdom, and yet he still somehow found time for her, it made her love and appreciate him even more.
