You agreed

"That is a lie, we never stole your land" Wura in nothing but confusion at what Olamide was saying.

"Oh but you did, you did, all this land was ours and now it is yours" said Olamide.

"Olamide, I am sure that you are mistaken, your land was never, and I repeat never stolen by Wyverdale" said Wura as hearing that accusation really annoyed her.

"You are the one who does not know the truth, these lands belonged to us before your people took it away from us" said Olamide as Wura did not know If this was true, and neither did she care if it was, that was not enough reason to decide to start a war.

"Firstly, I do not believe you, we never took your land, if anything, we all know that this land belongs to Wyverdale and secondly, that still does not give you a reason to start a rebellion or a war" said Wura.

"Oh but it is more than enough Queen Wura" said Olamide as Wura narrowed her eyes at him.

"I doubt that is enough, because it is a lie, we did nothing to you, if anything we have tried our best to live in peace with the East" said Wura as Olamide just looked at her.

"You lie, were you not the ones who came to take our land from us just so recently" said Olamide with a scoff.

"That was only because you refused peace, and you were offered the chance to take peace, but you did not, and you cannot act like we have been barbarians towards you" said Wura.

"Oh but you did, forcing us to send you our resources to you, our iron our gold, our precious resources" said Olamide.

"You agreed to the treaty" said Wura.

"You say It as if we had a choice at all" said Olamide with a scoff as Wura could not believe this at all.

"You did" said Wura.

"That does not still excuse the fact that you declared war for no reason at all" said Wura.

"Not only did you start a rebellion in the North that has been stable for years, but you also assisted in framing my uncle, you targeted my family since my father has no male child, and to make matters worse, you refused peace" said Wura in anger as Olamide just smiled.

"You really are an intelligent woman to have figured all that out" said Olamide with a smile.

"I am not stupid, and I care for the wellbeing of my kingdom" said Wura.

"I admire your confidence and determination, I just wonder where your husband the King is? Why would he send a woman to do what a man needs to do" said Olamide.

"Because he believes that I will handle the situation the right way" said Wura as she was not having any of this at all.

"What confidence he must have to trust his wife to handle something this important" said Olamide with a hint of scoffing in his tone.

"Well tell me, are you married Olamide?" asked Wura.

"Well no" replied Olamide.

"Then I am sure that you do not understand what it means to have mutual trust and respect in someone you love" replied Wura.

"Whatever you say" said Olamide.

"I just hope that the confidence you have does not waver when you hear of the fires that may or may not have burnt down one of your towns" said Olamide with a devilish smile on his face, waiting for Wura to have a horrific expression on her face, but to his surprise she was quiet and calm as If she already knew this.

Mero on the other hand was furious that Olamide could boldly admit to what he did, he felt like attacking right now, but for Wura's sake, he would not do anything rash.

"What do you want?" asked Wura with a serious expression on her face as Olamide could not lie that he was not surprised by her overly calm behaviour.

"it is simple, we want our land back" said Olamide.

"It was never yours to begin with" replied Wura.

"You are not going to get anything, and I mean nothing at all from us, because what you are asking for is not what you rightly deserve" said Wura as Olamide just smiled.

"In that case then, get ready for war" said Olamide, you could not say that he did not try to settle things amicably, but Wura had refused to accept his simple offer of peace, he and his men could not be blamed for what would happen next.

"Get on with it then, is that not why we are all here in the first place?" asked Wura with a scoff, she was not going to take this at all, and she also was not going to back down from a fight, because this was unfair.

"Oh fierce, I love your boldness" said Olamide with a smile as Wura just looked at him.

"Just know that war is no play" said Olamide.

"I know that, and I just want to let you know that you have the choice to stop this before many innocent lives suffer because of this nonsense war, but I will not and I repeat will not back down" said Wura.

"The only people that will suffer are your people and not mine" said Olamide.

"Think carefully Queen Wura, things might not turn out in the way you want them to, and you will have no one to blame but yourself" said Olamide.

"And so would you" replied Wura as Olamide just laughed.

"Be prepared" said Olamide as he turned around and walked away as Wura sighed internally, so much for trying to talk things through, but now, a battle was inevitable, in truth, she did not want anyone to die, no one deserved to die just because of this nonsense.

"My Queen we should go now, I do not trust them" said Mero as Wura looked at him and sighed as she nodded and turned back as the knights followed after her closely.

Wura sighed to herself as her mind was tired, her thoughts were scattered everywhere.

"My Queen, I have good news for you" said Nora with a smile as she walked into the tent as Wura looked at her, Nora was sure that Wura needed some good news to cheer her up right now.

"What is it Nora?" asked Wura as she looked at Nora.

"My Queen, Elihu, Zuph, Zechariah and Luc have returned" said Nora as Wura looked relieved upon hearing that.

"Oh thank the heavens" said Wura, she was starting to get worried, it was late and they were still nowhere to be found until now.

"How are they?" asked Wura.

"They are well my Queen, and they rescued five captives" said Nora as Wura sighed in relief.

"Finally some good news, tell me Nora, what is Mero up to? I am sure he is planning something, but he will refuse to tell me what" said Wura as Nora frowned slightly, Mero had told her not to tell Wura anything, or at least just for now, not until she had relaxed a bit.

"Umm my Queen, before we discuss that, I think you should rest first" said Nora.

"Nora, I am sick and tired of everyone telling me what and what not to do, I am a grown woman for crying out loud, and it is selfish for you all to tell me to rest while everyone else is obviously not resting" said Wura.

"I apologize my Queen, we all just do not want you to be overwhelmed by all of this" said Nora as Wura sighed.

"Well I am not overwhelmed, I am just fine, and now is the time more than ever to be serious, because this is a serious matter, and it must be handled seriously" said Wura.

"It may be true that I know nothing about war, but that will not stop me from being involved at all" said Wura.

"Now, where is Mero, because surely he knows that I need to speak to him" said Wura.

"He is speaking to some of the knights my Queen" replied Nora.

"Is it something serious?" asked Wura.

"I believe it is my Queen" said Nora.

"In that case I will speak to him later" said Wura.

"Alright my Queen, shall I bring you your dinner?" asked Nora.

"No Nora, I am not hungry, I will eat later" replied Wura.

"Alright my Queen" said Nora as she did not insist anymore, knowing fully well that Wura did not like it when she was forced to eat.

"Can I get you anything my Queen?" asked Nora.

"No Nora, I am fine, you can go now" said Wura.

"Alright my Queen, if you need anything, please call me" said Nora.

"I will Nora" said Wura as Nora bowed her head and she left the room, she knew that Wura wanted to be alone right now.

Wura sighed to herself deeply as she was contemplating the best thing to do now.
