Go away

Wura sighed as she looked up from her desk, she was tired, she was fed up, she was frustrated.

She did not know what to say, she did not know what to do, it was overwhelming all of this was just overwhelming, this sudden outburst of war, she was trying to be strong, but it was just too much for her to handle.

Wura stood up from her desk as she started to pace up and down in the tent, she was fed up honestly.

Wura groaned as she was deep in her thoughts, she was thinking of what she could possibly do to end this war before it even began, it worried her so much to think that the people of Wyverdale were now no longer in safety.

That scared her to death, she was the Queen, her job was to protect them all, and she really did not have the slightest idea of how to do that efficiently, how to show the people that she truly cared for them and she was just as scared as they all were.

Wura was tired, she had spent the entire day reading up on war strategies, she wanted to be prepared for anything and everything that could possibly happen.

She did not know if that was her actually calling for an attack from Olamide, but she just did not want to be caught off guard no matter what.

Wura murmured to herself out loud, she was confused, tired, and worst of all, she was unable to get any sleep, that was why she had come here to clear her mind a bit, she needed to clear her mind.

"What is going on? Why is this happening? Just why?" asked Wura to herself as she sighed, she was trying so hard to be strong, but it was just so difficult, she was terrified of all the thing Olamide had said, he did not seem like a sane man that she could talk sense into and try to settle amicably, and that was just too much for her to handle.

"Just why??" asked Wura again as she sighed heavily.

Outside the sky was dark and the moon was out shining brightly over the place they had set up camp.

The camp was silent, everyone had gone to sleep at this time and Mero was doing his nightly security checks around the camp just for safe measure when she suddenly heard some noise coming from the tent where Wura's office was in.

Mero furrowed his eyebrows as he was very careful, he did not know who could be in there at this time, it was very late.

Mero carefully made his way to the tent as he entered and was surprised to see Wura pacing up and down looking distraught and extremely troubled and that worried him.

"My Queen, are you alright?" asked Mero in worry as Wura looked at him and she stopped pacing around.

"What are you doing here Mero? I thought you would be asleep by now?" asked Wura as she ignored his question.

"I was doing my nightly checks around the camp just to be safe, what are you doing here my Queen? You should be asleep by now" said Mero as Wura looked at him and sighed.

"You are right Mero, I should be asleep, in fact I will go now, goodnight" said Wura as she did not want to talk to him right now, she was so troubled that she felt no one could truly understand how she felt right now.

Wura proceeded to walked out of the tent as Mero blocked her and gently pulled her back.

"Mero what are you doing? Let go of me" said Wura in a tired tone as Mero looked into her eyes in worry, as if searching for something.

"My Queen, are you alright?" asked Mero in worry, this was unusual behaviour from Wura, she usually would put up a fight with him, but right now, she just looked frustrated and tired.

"I am fine Mero" replied Wura as she lied and removed her hand from Mero's grasp as she tried to leave again and Mero gently pulled her back again.

"Are you sure my Queen? You do not look alright, what is troubling you?" asked Mero, he was not going to let this go.

He could tell that she was tired and frustrated, and he also knew that it had to be because of the war and a bunch of other things, Wura usually never let anything get to her this much, so for this whole situation to affect her natural behaviour, it meant that she was going through something very serious right now, and that worried Mero a lot.

"Mero I am sure, I am fine, really, please let me go, I want to go to sleep now" said Wura as on a normal day if she had said that in her usual tone, Mero would not have continued insisting at all, but with the way she spoke her words with a lack of energy, Mero was certain that he was not going to let her go anywhere.

Who knew what could happen if he let her go looking this depressed? He would have no one to blame but himself for seeing her in this state and letting her be alone.

Wura pulled her hand out of Mero's hold again so she could leave, when suddenly Mero pulled her back but this time with much more force than he had expected and she landed firmly in his chest.

"Are you alright Mero? Can you please let me go!" said Wura as she looked up at him, now feeling angry, why was he trying to stop her from leaving so badly?

"I am sorry my Queen, but I cannot do that, I cannot let you go anywhere, or at least not in the state that you are in, you can try to tell me what is bothering you and then maybe I can let you go" said Mero as Wura scoffed and forcefully pushed him away as he let her do so.

Wura was starting to get agitated and flustered from the how close she was to him just a moment ago, but her anger covered that up.

"Are you alright Mero? Are you sure you do not need to go to bed? Why would you try to stop me from going where I want to go? I am the Queen, not some little child that needs permission from you or anyone else when she wants to go anywhere!" said Wura.

"I apologize if I made you think that way my Queen, but I am only being cautious, it is dangerous out there, we have guard protecting the camp yes, but a bit of extra safety will do you no harm" said Mero as Wura scoffed.

"And I was worried when you answered me so softly... as if you were completely fed up" said Mero as Wura scoffed even more.

"Oh I see now, when I argue with you, it is a problem, and when I do not argue with you it is even worse?! Just what do you want from me Mero??! What do you want?" asked Wura as she was severely agitated right now.

Mero was taken aback by her sudden outburst, but it only assured him that he was right, something was definitely bothering Wura but she did not want to talk about it.

"My Queen, you know you can trust me, you know that you can tell me anything, please tell me what it is that is agitating you so much, that is making you feel this way?" asked Mero softly as he walked forward and held her hand.

Wura looked down at his hands that were holding hers and she just felt even worse, she looked back up at him, into his sincere eyes, and she just felt like running away.

"Mero, leave me alone, just go away, please go away, I cannot deal with this right now, I beg you go away!" said Wura as she pulled her hands away from his and she retreated further away from him as she looked down.

Mero looked at her, his eyes filled with confusion and shock, had he done something wrong? If he had, he certainly was not aware of it, and it worried him, Wura looked as if she was furious with him, like she was scared of him... and that stirred up something in his heart.

"My Queen? Have I done something wrong to offend you? What is wrong? Tell me what is making you like this?" asked Mero in worry as he took a step further.

"No Mero, go away, do not come any closer, just leave me alone, that is all I ask you, I beg you, just leave me alone, stay away from me, far away from me!" said Wura as she moved back and covered her face in her hands, her emotions were a mess right now, and Mero's presence was only making it worse.

Mero was helpless, he stopped moving, he did not know what to do, Wura looked as if she was suffering a lot right now, and that did nothing but make Mero feel as if he was responsible, it sounded as if she was accusing him, and it made no sense to him, they had been on good terms, why now all of a sudden was she chasing him away from her as if he was evil?

To be honest, it made Mero feel bad, she never had acted this way towards him before, never.

"Mero I beg you, please go away, leave me alone for once... just leave" said Wura as she pleaded with him again and Mero remained there unmoving, worry in his eyes, uncertain of what do to, but he knew that he could not leave her alone, no, not in this state that she was in currently.

"My Queen..." called Mero once again.

"Wura... please do not push me away... please tell me what is wrong? Did I do something to offend you? Please tell me Wura, I am begging you, tell me what I did wrong... please" called Mero in a soft sincerely worried tone as Wura looked up at him.
