Raymond cruga

A magnificent building stood tall just a few tens of meters away from her position, what was worth mentioning was that her workplace wasn't really far from her house, this allowed her to arrive on time to avoid getting a long speech from her cold boss.

Dozens of cars parked outside the building as people constantly trooped in and out of the building, security cameras could be seen on different blocks of the building, and a group of security men walking about.

A 56-story building with a huge billboard with the name "New tech" was constantly flashing on it.

Sophie took a deep breath and walked towards the multi-story building, heading straight to the elevator. After pressing a few buttons, the elevator started rising upwards.

A four-square meter mirror was glued to the side of the elevator for which purpose was unknown.

Sophie looked at her reflection in the mirror. Red long hair that was scattered over her back and some on her face. Such a mess! She looked like someone who just escaped a robbery. She suddenly turned red from shame. She had walked all the way here, looking like this??

Black eyes that looked as deep as the darkest depth of the sea. Her eyes could easily hook one's soul, long lashes that fluttered whenever she blinked, cheery red thin lips, and small nose.

Her silk blouse long sleeve shirt still had the first three buttons open.

Sophie immediately arranged herself to look more appropriate for work, her mind had been in disarray and she wasn't able to make herself more appropriate.

Sophie arranges herself just in time for the elevator door to open, she had arrived at the 50th floor, the floor where her office was located.

She walked sluggishly, heading to her office to sort out her thoughts. Already a few steps from the elevator, she suddenly remembered something.

Her heart raced as she dashed to her office.

She had to submit some files to her boss today.

She ran at full speed and even almost slipped on the slippery floor, even ignoring her colleague who greeted her along the way.

Pushing the door open with force, the door jerked open as she rushed to her desk, she ran through the drawers and finally found the file she was looking for. She grabbed them and dashed out again, heading to the elevator.

She pressed the open button but realized it was in use, she checked the other two and all of them seemed to be in use, she didn't think twice and instantly dashed towards the stairs, running all the way to the fifty-first floor.

She didn't waste a single moment after arriving and went straight to the office with the exclusive-looking door, the only exclusive-looking door on the entire floor actually, it was something transparent but one couldn't see through it.

Sophie huffed and some seconds after, finally arriving before the door, she once again arranged her looks, she took a deep breath and knocked on the door.

"Come in" the cold and intimidating familiar voice came from behind the door.

Sophie's expression turned complicated because she could sense the slight anger in her boss's voice. She gulped before pushing the door open and walked in anxiously.

There he was. Her boss, the CEO of New tech.

Raymond cruga.

The cold CEO was sitting on his exclusive boss seat and staring at his assistant with cold and emotionless eyes.

His gaze made Sophie shiver, his gaze was like a freezing spell that made her feel cold all over, his abnormally red eyes stared at her like a vampire seeing a new breed with a different blood type.

She gulped again and slowly walked towards him, standing in front of his desk with her hands holding the files in front of her chest, she didn't know what to do next.

Raymond looked at his assistant with anger boiling inside of him, he had suddenly been informed of a meeting that he didn't even know about, only to realize that his assistant was supposed to inform him this morning but she wasn't even at work when he asked his other employees, he was extremely furious right now.

"Why are you here?" Raymond questioned with a cold voice that made Sophie almost jump in fright.

Too cold, too frightening.

"I-i came t-to drop these files" Sophie forced the words out, her voice was trembling.

" What are they for?" Raymond muttered, suppressing his anger from taking over his sense of reasoning.

"A business meeting" Sophie dropped her head and said with a weak voice.

" Time?" Yet again, Raymond's cold voice stabbed her fear meter.

"7 a.m" Sophie didn't dare to keep his words hanging and answered immediately.

"And what's the time now?" Raymond finally raised his voice slightly.

Sophie subconsciously took a step back as her eyes darted towards the clock on Raymond's desk.

"oh no,9-9 a.m" Sophie's expression turned inexplicably ugly as she thought inwardly.

It was already nine in the morning. She was two hours late. She started to pray, if she lost her job, she would be too terrified to keep living. How can one be so unfortunate in a single day?

Raymond sat upright on his seat and uttered in a deep and cold voice "If this happens again...you better not come back here"

Without waiting for her to respond, he turned to his computer and started typing something.

Sophie looked at him in disbelief, she actually couldn't believe he gave her a chance, although she wished for this, it still came as a shock to her. Bless you, boss!!

She bowed slightly and hurriedly left with the files.

Raymond raised his head after she closed the door and whispered "unreliable, humph"

Sophie arrived back at her own office, the place was as neat as it could be with little to no design.

Sophie had always been the reserved type and barely did things in a grand manner, she walked sluggishly to her seat and slumped down on it like she was trying to sink into it.

She didn't turn on her computer and just stared at the roof of her office, lost in time, her thoughts ran wide that she didn't even notice her door was still open neither did she notice when a figure walked in and closed the door.
